Musical Tribute - Gopi's response to Aham Pg4

When Aham knocked on the door of the CM, he wasn't exactly sure how he felt about picking up Gopi. His feelings were very ambivalent, even to himself. On the one hand he knew that Gopi wasn't right for him and their separation was the best option for them. But on the other hand he was excited at the prospect of seeing her again, his heart was beating faster than normal in anticipation, his palms were sweaty and there was a frog in his throat. Naani arriving at MM had forced his hand and now he had to bring Gopi back to MM. For some reason the idea wasn't as awful to him as he had thought it would be! No matter what his head told him his heart wouldn't listen to anything. When the door was opened by Urmi he was maha disappointed, he was sure Gopi was going open the door and the next face he saw was going to be hers. He was so disappointed that he couldn't speak he folded his hands and tried to murmur Jai Shri Krishna. Urmilla took a step back to let Aham in. When he entered the CM he was overwhelmed by the smell of something delicious cooking in the kitchen. He knew that is where Gopi was, he couldn't see her but saw the end of her pallu from where he was in the living room.

Was it possible to miss someone you never talk to? Never looked at? Never acknowledged that they existed? Was that possible? Then why did he have the uncontrollable urge to run into the kitchen just to get a glimpse of her face?

He realized that before she came back to MM with all her girlish hopes and dreams he needed to be honest with Gopi. He went into the kitchen and grabbed Gopi's pallu to get her attention and pulled her towards himself. Gopi was shocked to see him standing there in the kitchen with her. At first she thought he was a figment of her imagination. Finally when Aham spoke Gopi realized he was there. She whispered, "aap?" Aham said, "don't get excited but I am here to take you back to MM and before you come with me you need to listen."

Now this is India so Aham takes both of Gopi's hands in his and breaks into this song:
