explanation please,

can someone explain to me why the younger daughter in law has to wear a sari and the older one gets to wear a suit, haven't seen vidiya wear sari even when she was newly married to gaurav!

omg! i was wondering the same thingg! I noticed that today, cause Vidya was all decked up in a salwar, but Priya was in a sari.

I was thinking that maybe it's cause Priya got married recently, and after a while, she'll revert back to salwars except fancier ones now that she's married into the Jhaakar family.

I also wonder why. But I like Priyaa dressing. Salwars and now sari. She is wearing nice Sari in Maryada.

i was thinking that too..but priya looks good in saris. maybe they did it soo both of them could have different styles in the show.

Well if you recall. Vidya was wearing lengha choli for a while then started wearing the suits. I think that it will be similar for Priya. She will wear saree for awhile then chhange back to her original style but fancier stuff.

I like her in sari...she looks gorgeous...dunno why but i also find her acting very natural compared to some other tv actors.👍🏼

Its because, up north from delhi, it is not necessary to wear Saree after marriage as opposed to UP and central India where it is absolute requirement in the conservative Hindu families to wear saree and sindoor after marriage. Priya is wearing it but it is not reuired by customs and that is why they probably are showing Vidya in a salwar kameeez.
