Karunya is not as great as the judges are trying to portray him though because of his classical base he is sound in sur than most of the contestants and Sandeep is not as bad as the judges are trying to portray him. If Sandeep sang besura, why does our ear not sense it and only ANU malik can sense.

Anu malik wasn't the only one who noticed it....at the risk of getting hit by Sandeep fans I did notice that he went off in both jana hai and the last song and I was quite surprised at how Sonu Nigam didn't point it out but I suppose with all the criticism he's getting from the janta I guess he was careful and Anu Malik said it like it is. I'm not saying that I'm an ultimate judge of music but other people did notice that he went off.....it's very important to be in sur coz that's the only way a song will sound pleasant. Going off sur makes the song very unpleasant to a trained and an untrained ear. Def Sandeep has come a long way from the time when he sang an entire song completely off key but he still needs more practice staying on sur and I say this for his betterment coz it's the first thing for a singer. He's a great person and a good singer but to be excellent he needs to work on his sur.

😊I completely agree with you. Sandeep is a sweet guy, and little more training and effort he would become a good singer in the future. May be the cotrast between Karu and him was so glaringly visible in the last Gala. I wish him all the best. But let the Best of the Best win the Idol title. That is Karunya.

ya i think sonu was just trying to play safe.... he was trying v hard not to hurt sandeep😉 but i cud sense a pinch of circasm in his comments like when he said sandy sang the II song well and then he goes "well there is no reference"... hmmm sonu is a smart one with words.

That is Karunya's WHOLE career @ stake!!!!! Even if u oppose Sandeep's treatment, it won't make a diff 2 the judges who u vote 4 n who wins! Karunya will b the 1 2 suffer! Plz think abt it! 😕

Karunya deserves the title. He has been consistent throughout and has gotten better and better with every gala. There is no doubt in my mind that he is better than Sandeep by leaps and bounds. If he loses this competition - I will be very dissapointed in our public. Sad that we cannot appreciate and honor the talent,passion and dedication of such a talented singer.

If you want to settle for mediocre and want to encourage the underdog...go ahead and support Sandeep. If Sandeep wins - To Karunya I just have to say...sorry our people could not appreciate you - but there is life beyond this competition - your efforts are not wasted and you will go far! All the very best to you!! Me and many others with me cannot wait to hear more of you.
