Asylum-A collection of poems on madness and love. Mad love necessarily doesn't mean abusive or obsessive love...it could also be tragedy.
This poem..its based on someone I know, who has suffered a lot....separated from the one they loved. đ
If you find the theme of my poems repetitive, well there are a hundred aspects to the same thing...and people go all lol when I write like that, but that doesn't stop me. Calling me weird won't dampen my creativity. đ¤
The first poem can be found in the Paagal Onu AT and the second in the EDT 3 of 31st jan to 4th Feb.
The third one which I am posting here is called 'Rain'
Nature can be beautiful
Nature can have an ugly side
Nature can show you miracles
And destroy them with one sweeping tide
Who knows Her changing fantasies
Who knows what she really wants from us all
Who knows whether he power's the all-knowing itself
Who knows, compared to her, we are so small
They say love can defeat everything
And I so believe so can the rain
For even the greatest of all romances
Is subject to the inflictment of Nature's pain
We humans destroy without thinking
Without even looking into how black our hearts are turning
We humans damn without even hoping
Without even seeing how our souls are burning
We humans love and feel no one can love like us
But the truth is love can twist us from inside out
We humans are always in the whirlwind called life
And sometimes it feels like a childrens roundabout
Everyone calls him mad
Everyone calls him an outcast
But did those people who ostracized him
Care to think about his devastating past?
Everyone thinks he's not worth loving
Everyone thinks he can never give love to anyone
But did those people who call him darkness
Ever try to be his sun?
Only one person cares about his tragedy
Only one person knows what he went through
But unfortunately that one person's wisdom
Is not present in me and you
If only people could be nice to him
If only they could prove that the world's not a bad face
But they will never ever notice
Those silent tears on his curious face....
But the thunder and the lightning bear witness
And everyone stares as the rain comes down
For the rain so gracefully falls and meets it unfortunate end
As it comes to a halt on the unforgiving ground.
