I have no problem accepting the facts, the basis of my argument was that DID 2 had better ratings than Doubles, it doesn't matter if the ratings were better by .1 or by 3, but the point is that DID 2 was a better package with the mentors, contestants, format. That is my what I am debating. I love Dancing and I will continue to watch DID because dance is big part of my life and also because DID is my favorite. But that doesn't mean I can't accept the fact that DID popularity is in decline. Also, when some of the members were saying that DID ratings were 5 they were referring to its opening episode, compared to DID doubles first weeks ratings of about 4. I have posted the article that states that DID 2 opening ratings were 4.9.

Ratings are not necessarily accurate as a lot also depends on other dance programmes running concurrently etc. But most important is one's personal preference in this respect. I love watching group and jodi performances.

Well of course it matters whether the ratings are less by .1 or 3.Beacause it shows that maximum people dont miss the old package and have accepted the new one.It shows that people loved the old mentor's and love the new ones as well.Only very few people have been impacted but max people havent been and they still think that mentors, contestants and dances are still great. That is what the conclusion should be.And if you think DID 's popularity is in decline then it has been in decline since DID season 2 after 4 weeks when they had ratings of about 2 per week then when DID doubles started it increased from 2 to 3 now later what happens to DID doubles even i dont know. And also when some members claimed that ratings were 5 and they meant for the opening episode so they should have mentioned that.If you check the post were the latest ratings are given max members instead of appreciating the success of the show said that its is not as good as DID season 2 and the absence of terrence and remo have affected the ratings a lot as ratings earlier were around 5.From no where a person can think they are comparing one week ratings of the opening episode to the 4rth week ratings.Comparisons should always be of averages.Any how all my aim was that the members who weren't appreciating the success of the show should start doing so by seeing that DID doubles is doing as well when compared to other seasons.

Badi mushkil hai, yahan wohi ho gaya "Sar mundaate ole parna" Ek baat bola nahin kisi ne ke doosra aisa latka ke jaise agar chhorega to 500 feet deep valley mein gir jayega. Bottomline:
This show has pure dance, dancers are very good. Dada is there, Jay is there, Shweta is good but I liked Soumiya more. Rajeev and Marzi is good but lacking personality, bachche dikhte hain. Geeta as usual, umar badh rahi lekin bachpana nahin gaya. Not missing Remo because I see him on JDJ. Terrence se mujhe utna matlab nahin thaa, rahta tab bhi acha nahin hai tab bhi acha. Yes I like him more than Geeta.

If yo average the first weeks of DID 2 and DID doubles, DID ratings are still greater.

😃 ummm you made the claim many times that DID 2 was averaging a 5-6 ratings......Can you please tell me was that not misinformation? Once again you are falsely claiming that DID Doubles ratings have dropped since the beginning..........DID Doubles was somewhere in the mid 2's in ratings last week and this week it has shot up to 3.87....how is that a drop in ratings? DID 2 averaged a 3.34 and DID Doubles is averaging a 3.33 in ratings......so yess DID Doubles is .1 less then DID 2 at this stage.........Terrence and Remo leaving the show resulted in a decline of .1 percent in ratings.........😛 That's some difference I must say......😊

If you think DID Doubles being the top rated reality show on Indian Television, and being amongst the top 10 show in Indian Television means DID is declining then I guess there is not much left to say..........😛

Come on people, who the hell cares what the ratings are? As long as its quality content, more viewers will be attracted to the show, and the ratings will rise. As simple as that. And even if they don't, that does not mean that the show sucks. Whether you like a show or not is very subjective, it depends from person to person.

Well maybe you dont care about the ratings but some members on this forum do.And have been claiming that DID season 2 had way higher ratings than DID doubles. So this thread was meant for them and not for people like you who actually watch the show for the great dancing.Which is the right thing to do

😛 very well said......Which is why I found it comical that some people were actually making the case that DID Doubles was not as good as DID 1 and DID 2 due to the fact that DID 2 averaged between 5-6 ratings on a weekly basis (which by the way was completly false and misleading) and DID Doubles was averaging far less in ratings (again completely false and misleading). Some people were also crediting Terrence for being a great mentor based on the fact that CDD ratings were slightly higher then last season's ratings of CDD (nevermind the fact that the show still hasn't pulled in a 2 rating whereas DID Doubles is averaging 3.33 rating thus far). Liking or not liking a show or anything is purely subjective like you stated........some people like Terrence, some don't.......some like Geeta, some don't etc.........😊
