DC: Twist in lovers tale

Star Plus is finally revisiting the comedy genre and experimenting with a sitcom for the first time. Pyar Mein Twist is a situational comedy about a mismatched but 'made for each other' couple. Amol and Rekha, played by Manish Paul and Roshni Chopra, love each other a lot but end up fighting incessantly as everyone around them tries to break them up. Inspired by an old Amol Palekar film, the sitcom's hero Amol Desai is a replica of Amol Palekar –— simple, sincere, innocent and generous. On the other hand, Rekha is rich, beautiful, whimsical and a movie buff. The couple's love triumphs, but not without problems created by outsiders.
