With SRK not present 'on the sets' as host in Argentina and just merely restricted to giving suggestive commentary, is he wasted on the show?

Shah Rukh Khan made his comeback on the small screen with ' Zor Ka Jhatka ' last night and while there were huge expectations from the show, many were disappointed with SRK's antics. While people were looking forward to his tongue-in-cheek wit in the commentary for participants struggling to overcome hurdles on a path, many were of the opinion that his narration was very down-market and vulgar.

Jyoti Gulati Chakravati who works in big corporate says, "SRK's pelvic thrusts, the big ball theory and GPL acronyms implying its the grand pichwaade pe laat, all on Prime time television was reason enough to show the extent to which the TV channel can stoop to increase TRPs. King Khan has spoiled his repute flaunting crass humor coz according to me there is a thin line between classy humour and SRK's impudence. Watch John Henson and John Anderson in American Wipeout and we would be saying big balls to Zor Ka Jhatka !"

Aliyaah Mehdi who runs a boutique says, "I found SRK funny 10% and I found him irritating and boring 90%. His entire attempt at being funny looked unnatural. And clearly, whatever he was saying was scripted. I am sure if he was allowed to just be himself and host it the way he wants, he would have come up with a better act. With what he did yesterday, I think he was completely wasted. You really don't need an SRK to host something like Zor Ka Jhatka!"

Shah Rukh Khan's presence on the show doesn't make sense to many because he is neither the 'on the sets' host in Argentina where the live action is happening and his physical presence is not required in the studio if he is merely giving commentary. "I think he could have been utilized much better. They are wasting his immense potential", feels college-going Neeta Asopa.

Dipali who works for a fashion magazine says, "I didn't find him funny at all. Big Balls to him for wasting my time!" However there are ardent fans of Shah Rukh like Priyanka who say, " Zor Ka Jhatka is good time pass. SRK and his 'big balls' obsessed narration is quite funny. I ditched Madhuri for SRK!". Others feel it's still too early to write-off Shah Rukh Khan at this moment.

Let's see if Shah Rukh Khan's humour improves over the period and whether he is put to better use on the show that simply adding face value.

A sheer wastage so far! Unless he can change his monotonous/robotic dialogue delivery cutting out the sexual innuendo.
