Confirmed: 'Chhoti Bahu' to replace 'Agle Janam...'
ZEE TV UK has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that the second series of 'Chhoti Bahu' will replace 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo' later this month.

From Monday 21st February, 'Chhoti Bahu' will make its much awaited return to television screens in the UK. It will take over the 20:30 slot from 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo', which will end the preceding week after nearly two years on-air.

'Chhoti Bahu' will be set in Rawal, the place where the spiritual love between Radha and Krishna actually blossomed according to Indian mythology. The divine love story of Dev and Radhika will start when they are kids. Unlike the protagonists of the first season, Dev and Radhika will not be silent spectators and will now be projected as more outspoken and pro-active people. The story of the new version will begin in Rawal and later move to Mathura.

This endearing and fresh story of 'Chhoti Bahu' will have a new plot and many more actors, Dev ' Radhika aka Avinash Sachdev and Rubina Dilaik will once again warm viewers' hearts as the divine couple intensely in love.

ZEE TV unveiled the first look promos of the new 'Chhoti Bahu' series during the ZEE Cine Awards last weekend and viewers had been waiting with bated breath for the launch date.

It's already been reported that lead actress of 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo', Ratan Rajpoot who plays Lali on the show is going to be a part of 'Swayamavar 3' on Imagine...Dil Se from May.

Wonder why it is starting on 21 february in Uk and not on the 14 february.. like in India. So excited for CB! Can't wait to see the first episode! 😉

I think we should start writing to the Zee UK, Zee USA to have the shows aired starting the same date as in India. Otherwise like last time, they will start poorly editing the shows to "catch up"..

Tazzi had a thread regarding writing to Zee USA--please see that thread.
https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/chhoti-bahu-sindoor-bin-suhaagan/1593159/please-write-to-zeeusa-programming-head

Us North American viewers have to write strong but nice letters to Zee Programming head AsiatvUsa, so that they will not edit CB2 episodes.
When they started to edit US episodes I wrote letter to Subash Chandra and his office forwarded that letter to local programming head. He sent me lame appology letter in a photo print paper and bunch of Zee junk (pens, keychains, backpack with Zee Logo on it.) Later he did air some unedited Goa and Malaysia episodes. They were about to edit Akthi Wedding Maha episode again but because I wrote letter to them again......he aired the episodes at different timeslots in full. He gave me good response.
His name is Surya Goel, if he still works for ZeeTVUSA.

1. Please write friendly letter so that he does not think we are attacking him.
2. Include that you're aware of this new serials promotion that was aired during DID Dance Double India.
3. Reiterate that to avoid editing New serial " to catch up to India as viewers request" Zee USA should start Dev Aur Radhika ki Ek Nahin Prem Kahani same time as India.
4. Thank him for taking his time to read viewers feedback.
The more people write to him the more awareness we will create. Thank you.

Radhika5......that is so funny. It seems you were reading my mind. I was just thinking everybody should start writing to him. I just wrote to him. Just asking when and what time my favorite show will start to avoid editing so that they will retain their customers. Also so that I can timer record it since I will be out of country.
