Anyone who saw the "Idol II" song that Lyricist Sameer wrote and composed (by someone i forget) was given to both Sandeep and Karu will have to agree with me. This is the first time i could see how Karu can make any song magical! i heard Sandeep sing and it was good, i know other singers who can sing like that but karu put feelings into every word, even the mukhda was so different when he sang it. It was incredible. And there are some more posts about karu first song not upto mark and judges biased, i think sonu was biased towards Sandeep and did not give bad comments to Sandeep even though he was off sur.

Come on, lets not talk about judges, you listen to the same song sung by both and tell em which one you like the best, just listen to mukhda since its the same for both. Also it was sandeep's luck to go upfront, otherwise if akru would have sung fuirst and SAdneep later then his song would be so Pheeka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree with you that Karu put emotions to ths song and I was crying every time I rewinded my tape and listened to his song. Sandeep was OK like any normal singer will sing this song but Karu sang it EXTRAORINARILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Sonu did a disservice to Sandeep by not criticising his wavering sur and uninspired singing. Perhaps he wanted to spare his feelings. They even tried to smooth it over by saying that this is a new tune and therefore we don't know what could be the right way to sing it. But, when you heard Karunya sing the same song...bang!...you knew exactly how it ought to be sung.

I didn't think he swallowed the words but if you felt so it could've been coz he said he was choked up in the beginning coz of all the emotion but he said he resisted and regained himself so that could be why it might've sounded that way to you. Either ways I think he performed that song like a seasoned singer and def deserves accolades for it!
