Takeshi's Castle more fun than Zor Ka Jhatka

Everyone please keep this thread civil.

Who else here watches Takeshi's Castle on Pogo? Kya fun-filled show hai, upar se Javed Jaffery ki hilarious commentary in Hindi. 😆

Saw ZKJ today, bilkul bhi maza nahi aaya. I would rather watch TsC than ZKJ. Reasons (IMO):

- SRK in not actually present in person in the gameshow, he is only commenting from studio. Aadha mazaa to wahin khatm ho jaata hai. Zyada farq nahi padhta agar SRK ka improvisation achha hota to, lekin sadly he is no-where close to what Javed manages to do under same conditions.

- Aam janta mein se contestants lene chahiye they, then those watching would have felt more connected to the show. How many times are we going to see same faces on such shows. Esp in a show like this where a person does not need any skills to participate.

Any other reasons one could think of?

I agree Takeshi's Castle is definitely more enjoyable than ZKJ. But i won't say ZKJ 'Bakwas'. Atleast the show is different from other mundane reality shows (all based on either singing or dancing).

only the first week of ZKJ so cnt say properly i like having stars as contestants

I like ZKJ, the games are fun to watch but I really loved Takeshi's Castle as a kid. Although I never saw the Hindi version with JJ's commentary. I saw it with Arabic commentary 😃 and even though I couldn't understand, it still didn't take away from the experience. The game was just that good 👍🏼

Javed's commentry was hilarious! He was awesome fosho! 👍🏼

And I don't mind seeing common ppl, at least we won't have to deal with huge (sometimes biased) fanbases in that case😛

I don't like ZJK! I find it okay .. I think it's only cause of one of the contestants that I would stick to the show. Probably Priyadarshini or Raja 😆 I liked the US version - Wipeout :)
