The starry-eyed actor Karan Mehra seems thrilled with his recent brush with Bollywood.He did a small role (a scene where hes intimate with Rani Mukerji) in No One Killed Jessica,and hes glad about it.When I gave my audition,I didnt know what exactly my role was.But when I got finalised and Rajkumar Gupta told me it was opposite Rani Mukerji I grabbed it.I still talk about it in jest calling it a meaty role as I had a lot of meat in my hand! quips Karan.The actor,who became a household name after Viruddh,is currently portraying a different character in the serial Behenein.He plays a person suffering from multiple-personality disorder.Karan has also bagged a lead role in a film tentatively titled Love Possible and hes happy with the way his career has shaped up.My journey has been very satisfying,but I dont believe in bifurcating my audience or my medium.I am an actor and will work in any medium so long as it excites me, he says.
