Shahrukh beats Salman; walks away with the Black Lady

With Bollywood's big names in the fray, speculations were rife as to who would win the Filmfare Award in the Best Actor category. But in the end, it was Shahrukh Khan who walked away with the Black Lady.

Buzz up!

Shahrukh won the Filmfare Best Actor award for his performance in My Name Is Khan by beating other contenders like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor. Salman, whose film Dabangg was one of the biggest grossers of 2010, was no doubt a hot contender for the coveted award but Shahrukh came out triumphant at the end.

The 56th Idea Filmfare Awards was held on January 29 at Yash Raj Films Studio and was hosted by Bollywood's most promising stars Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan. Kajol won the Filmfare Award for the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) for her role in My Name Is Khan and Salman's film Dabangg was adjusted the Best Film.

Kajol deserved it!! I'm so glad that kajol's finally got the best actress award for this as she was the best actress last year.

Both movies sucked.. i should have gotten the awrd for tolerating their nonsense ..😵😆

In my opinion, Filmfare is the worst award show in terms of giving away awards. They have always chosen the popular stars and movies to honor. I mean, if you look at the nominated list, it is quite obvious to how limited their list is in terms of versatility. So, I agree with those that say it is Scripted! 👎🏼

MNIK will be going to oscars now .....dont be surprised if SRK manages Oscar too :) 😛

In MNIK ....he meets obama in the end .....that alone qualifies him to receive best actor award :)
