I think Ankita was given preference over Krushna taking into consideration her wildcard performance as well as cumulative performances- cos she had performed very well in the previous weeks and attempted different and difficult dance forms. Yes, she did not get a 30 or even 29, but we have to also remember that judges had already declared by then that they would be stricter with the marking. (This was AFTER Krushna had gone) She got a 27 for doing a classical dance form Kathak, and that in itself speaks about how good she is as a dancer, and Madhuri in particular always appreciated her a lot saying she always sees herself in Ankita. She got 25 for Break even though choreography was all wrong.

Nevertheless, I think it would have been better to bring Ankita back through wildcard and stick to the original format of the show.

@Nikita- Your point is okhay but I dont think that Krushna's overall performances and marks were not good enough to not be brought back in Wild Card. Atleast He is a better dancer than Ankita

@Candy: Krushna did 4 performances-

1.) Didn't get very great marks- it was too Bollywoodish instead of the Jive it was supposed to be- 22, Anki got 21 ' almost equal.

2.) The Sci-Fi one- this was nice and he got good marks- 27- even ankita has got 27 once- and Ankita got 27 AFTER judges declared marking would be stricter- that too she got it for a classical kathak dance.

3.) The lavni- It got 29, but many members said that that the expressions he had during the dance were cheap and not at all graceful, lavni is a graceful dance. Anyhow we'll just focus on marks.

4.) 3 ka tadka: 20 marks.

So its not as if he was ekdum outstanding, yes, he was good and had potential, but Ankita too has done very difficult acts and got good marks for them. You think Krushna was the better dancer that is your opinion, but maybe judges felt she was better- you see na, how Ankita was always complimented by Madhuri since the folk dance round that 'I see myself in you'. Remo also always complimented Anki's dancing, he usually always picked out more on choreography.

Anyway this topic is never ending, and we cannot say anything conclusively- so lets sit back and enjoy the show.

now ur not saying that the points directly correlate to the level of dancing, are you? cuz then, u must also accept that shekhar is a fabulous dancer, cuz guess what? he has been getting these kind of points as well.

See, I myself do not know much about dancing, and so, I am dependent on judges points.😊

I don't pick out at the judges or say they are unfair or comment on technicalities of dancing saying this was better than that- cos judges know much more about dancing than me. I am not an authority to say they were wrong. (I simply always state I liked someone's dance more than others, never that he/she was better than others- even if I say so, its always keeping in mind the judges comments and points) I simply analyse the judges patterns, correlate that to their comments/decisions and state them as I see it- which is what I tried to do above.

If you've read my posts, I don't write anything about Shekhar being a bad dancer or infact about any contestant . At the most I've written that I don't like Shekhar's dancing, that's it. Maybe the judges have their own reasons for giving Shekhar high points. I will give them the benefit of doubt, cos they know more than me and anyways, they also consider the choreography and groW*H of the contestants while marking. As a layman however, I don't like Shekhar's dances- they don't interest me as an audience.

Where Shekhar's dancing is concerned, he hasn't been getting similar scores, his scores have been like this: 27, 22, 22, 21, 23, 26 and 24.

Ankita's have been like this: 21, 25, 26, 26, 25, 27 and out. Except for the first performance, she has always got more scores than Shekhar, and all the judges always praised her highly.

Plus as the judges have always said, they consider the groW*H of the person as a dancer too and evaluate them on the basis of that too. A 27 for two contestants doesn't necessarily mean similar level/difficulty of dancing even if they've both danced well. Shekhar got a 26 for dancing- yes but, Ankita got a 27 in the same episode for a classical dance form - Kathak- bound to be more difficult. It just means that they fulfilled what was required of them in that particular dance form, I think.😊
