Lot of natural disasters going on in the world. Weather of India changed dramatically last year. Bikaner(desert) was colder than Hill station(Simla)last year. Lot has happened with the different countries in the last decade. Countries who were notorious in the past for all kind of inhuman acts have suffered a lot in the recent past.

India as a whole has been able to build itself into an economic power and a well respected nation even though it has suffered at the hands of the terrorism. India has been able to maintain its democracy even though it is not equal for every body in India. India is in a much better shape than most of its neighbours even though there are so many people who are below povery line.

Poverty is one of the biggest problems in India but other countries may have poverty plus total terrorism. Majority of the people of the subcontinent may be living the life of insects(keede makorhey). Natural disasters affects the common man the most. Let us pray for the common man of any region because it is them who take the brunt of the attack from all the problems. Let us pray for the politicians who can create the biggest man made disasters.

Just because the ugly is not seen all the time does not mean it does not exist. Americans are lucky that in our nation sane still outweighs the insane, we are at a precarious turning point in history that will determine if we shall continue being that sane nation or steep into hatred and prejudice.

Similarly just because the innocent are not shown all the time does not mean they do not exist. Pakistan is unlucky because the wrong people have taken the country in the wrong direction at the expense of the innocent. They are at a point in history where the extremists from surrounding regions have infiltrated and permeated their country brainwashing their innocent into being something ugly.

No one is claiming that Pakistan is a perfect nation or the perfect neighbor. Nobody is denying that Indo-Pak relations have been strained. Everyone is aware that Pakistan is a nation strife with political turmoil, extremist infiltration and a host of other issues. And yes it is an undeniable fact that many new terrorists investigated have been linked to Pakistan.

However, this is a devastating earthquake that we are talking about. An earthquake that is disrupting and destroying the lives of ordinary civilians. Ordinary innocent civilians who may have no ties with the politics and ugliness of the world, but who live a day to day rudimentary frugal rurla existence.

When disaster strikes compassion and humanity dictates that we set aside differences for a moment and sympathize with the civilians who may be suffering. We have a choice to show that we are fair, rational humans whose problem is with the terrorists and extremists - not with the ordinary civilian. We have a choice to show that there is temperance and reason and the world helps those in need. If we ourselves get consumed with hatred and spite and revenge - then we convince more people that there is no good in the world and perhaps the terrorist and extremists are right in hating us.

😊 I agree with you on the fact that every country has a bunch of mean people who are hell bent on fighting and creating tesions.......However the difference is that most people in many of the countries stand up to the mean people and condemn their views instead of celebrating them......the examples you posted in your thread about the whacky pastor and the people who are using violence or threats to intimidate people in the United States are all fine and dandy but anytime those things happen there are thousands if not millions of people who stand up openly against those acts.........I didn't see thousands of people rallying in support of the gunman who shot the congress woman or in support of the whacky pastor......whereas in pakistan there are routinely rallies involving thosands of people celebrating terrorist acts throughout the world.......As far as tragedies go, this is not the first time that a tragedy has struck pakistan.......United States, India, Englad etc always give millions of dollars in aid everytime a tragedy strikes that country.....and how exactly have those countries been repaid for their humane acts over the years? India is repaid with attacks like those that happened on 26/11, United States is repaid with attacks like those of 9/11, England is repaid in the same manner...........India has never offensively attacked any country in the world, so India has shown the utmost of kindness in the most hostile conditions and what has that got us exactly? Have the neighbors of India recipricated the kindness that India has shown? so yes it sounds very nice to talk about how love brings more love and how India should take the higher road etc? but how many more Indians should lose their lives in the attacks like 26/11 for the sake of hoping that countries like Pakistan will see the light of day and decide to stop embracing terrorism? All the evidence points to the contrary, the country of pakistan is becoming more and more radicalized day by day despite the fact that pakistan receives the most amount of aid from foreign nations.....

arey that's okay you see because well they are terrorists......we on the other hand are educated and civilized so we should just keep quiet and try to understand the feelings of hte terrorists....we should appease them and beg them to not do it again......Because you see we are responsible for making them in to terrorists.......it's all our fault...........You see all terrorists and terrorist countries are victims of poverty and lack of education....never mind the evidence that shows that not all poor countries churn out terrorists..........But once again you see Pakistan is just a victim of bad luck...never mind the fact that at one point India was a third world country struggling with the same issues of poverty and lack of education that pakistan is struggling with now and I don't recall Indians inflicting terrorist attacks the world over......but all that doesn't matter, we should love the terrorists and support those who support the terrorists because it's not their fault, they are just doing this out of frustration......they are all really nice people really..........😊
