I was surprised when Shruti told Archana that her mother listens to them when they agree to her wishes. That was not so sensible. I mean people do it to small kids but who does that with grown up kids like them? 😲

Another issue where Sujata lost point from me...👎🏼

What you guys think?

lol ...that sounds more like "take and give policy " 😆

Kids have to do something first before she gives them something 😳 ..........hmmm ....this is debatable i guess . There must be a better way to get things done from kids :)

But Archana has "only give no take" policy .......so she keeps giving junkie food to kids no matter what they do :(

Well I do not think there is anything wrong in that as long as it is NOT always. For few things may be it is OK.

And really nice topic... 😳 Maa Exchange is definately a learning process as get to know so many views on different issues which will be beneficial to many including me now or in the future as parenting is definately one of the toughest job on earth.

@Arjun... I couldnt agree more.😊 There are better ways to convince teenagers. Its ok with small kids.
If explained properly and elaborately, kids will definitely listen. One needs to have better understanding of the issue, good convincing skills and a good bond with children.

Yes, sometimes it is fine. but that "sometimes" shouldnt be frequent.😊

@bold.... I absolutely agree with you. Parenting seems to be one of the toughest jobs almost everyone faces. Maa Exchange has definitely given us a sneak peek of what lies in front of parents. One has to be very careful and think from all aspects wherever child's upbringing is concerned. Afterall it is a question of one life.

My six year old if given logic and reasoning for any instruction or request will politely comply, these teens and their mother need give and take, matlabi family😡
And i believe that sujata's children have a lot of secrets from her, there is lots going on behind her back that she does not know about. When you are so strict, children never open their hearts out and let you in on the happenings of their life. Children always find a way around rules and regulations and do just what they want to. Better to be open, more accepting and carefully suggesting rather than be a disciplinarian and be completely unaware of their lives ongoings

Yup!!! That's sound quite rude to me!!! Children understand better If we try to convene them politely and softly!!!!

In that case I agree with Archana point k woh darr k maaray sab kartay hain!!!! This give and take system is not good for the grooming of teenagers
