Confused!

I am in US,so I am a bit confused abt the Vishwanath episode.I just read the Apr 6 updates.It doesn't say anythign abt Vishwa.When is that episode supposed to be telecast?

Vishwanath episode is April 7th in India.. will be shown on 14th in US

April 13th episode will be elimination one.. Vishwanath episode will be shown on Friday Apr. 14th.

The Vishwanath incident is "much ado about nothing" I guess after the controversial and high voltage Challenge 2005, this EMAT show is predictably boring. So there is a staged effort being made to light a fuse and draw the viewers in. Vishwanath recited some verse that apparently offended and judges and other participants. No big blunder and he does not need to be crucified for it in this day and age when almost everyone uses the "s--t" word quite matter of factly.

i happen to have slightly different take on this

until and unless it is clearly proscribed in the contract with the participants that they may be subjected to verbal molestation in public they are within their rights to object to such crass behaviour

Exactly my point. The contestant who was subjected to this didn't seem to object (atleast not on stage or backstage, although she might have privatel). She seemed to be laughing away, and even apologized on behalf of her "friend", as she said.

So much for all the reports that she blasted him and Hari got up to hit him. The rest of the participants were surprised, but looking at Vishwas' over the top reactions it seemed scripted.
