It seems that there must be some history and story behind Koki's rudeness and Hetal's quiet acceptance......

I think it must be something to do with the business.... Parag being sidelined by Motabhai deliberately.... Maybe encouraging his artistic side.... Jigar making a loss which Ahem must have recovered in business....

Koki's taunts are always very specific..... Hetal is actually the elder Bhabhi who was there much before Koki..... And Koki is very respectful of Baa..... There is a personal hatred in Koki' expressions and insults whenever she addresses any of them - motabhai, Hetal, Jigar and Parag.......

Any ideas?????

They have never revealed any specific history between Koki, Parag, Hetal and Chirag to explain Koki's resentment and treatment of everyone.

Parag

Her husband is the artistic type who isn't the bread winner in the family. He only focuses on his interests and doesn't give any importance or support to Koki. During disputes he sits back and doesn't speak up for Koki as she would like him to.

Chirag

he is the older brother so automatically head of the family. Koki doesn't like bowing down to him. Because her husband isn't an earner she needs to take money etc from Chirag. When Chirag does things for the family Koki takes that as an insult or that she is being taunted. Or that Chirag is throwing his power in her face.

Hetal

She automatically has a higher position being married to the older brother. Her style of dealing with things are in direct conflict with Koki. She may love Hetal but she is doesn't like how Hetal deals with things.

Jigar

He is just collateral damage.

Koki wants to be equal with the Mota couple but because of her husband and being the 2nd bahu she has never attained that goal.

In the past we have discussed and speculated that perhaps there is a story behind it all but I think it is just Koki's character. She is a very ambitious woman who is stuck in a situation that she doesn't like. She tries to gain what she doesn't have in her marriage through Aham and Gopi. Kinjal has set her back a lot in her goals!

Your synopsis was all spot on, however, am hoping that eventually Koki is not such a petty character. Would love her strength coming from siding the truth rather than pettiness.....

It would be nice if they focus their attention and gave actual story lines to the older actors. There is some incredible talent on the show.

Yes, Shelly. Some of the actors on this show are immensely watchable. Most times, I think they only develop the main charachters in depth, and thereafter develop or increase/decrease other characters based on the audience reaction to them. They also like to keep space for each character to go black/white depending on how desperate they are for a twist or TRP's.....

On this show I find that they have only one story on the go. All the characters revolve around that one story. As if the characters don't have anything else going on their lives.

Other shows have number of sub-plots and stories in addition to the central plot. Which gives those shows more depth which is lacking here at SNS.

It's the Kinjal track so everything is about that track.

I always suspected that.

Now THAT would be a fabulous twist on this show. But they will never go there. The show is not bold enough!
