Character sketch of Adarsh Naari/Bahu

the great mahila characters of TV serials like Uttaran, just like their creatives, try just too hard to fit in good books of everyone...following those desperate attempts -here is the final outcome of the character sketch of ideal bahu!!

1. Her reaction to any difficult situation/difficult person is......she cries...cries and cries ...coz she is not expected to do anything better than that.😆
2. She does not have any friends/social connection....her complete "duniyaa" is her sasuraal (sometimes maayeka)
3. She is not expected to want anything for herself.....
4. Being career oriented is not an option....coz having a career means, you are thinking about "yourself", which is not allowed by rule # 3 (In certain situations she might go for something that benefits others--but no money making for her own self)
5. She strictly wears saree with her head covered with pallu
6. She never retaliates...or stands up for herself......if things go out of hand--she is allowed to follow rule#1......that is crying.
7. She does not hang out....she can be at kitchen or mandir....or bedroom....but she goes out for dinner, lunch, fun activities etc...only when her husband or someone else tells her to.
8. The most important rule is--she HAS to please everyone.......compulsively!😛

agreed wid u 1st time........ bt this sketch is made by almost all daily soaps😡 ekta was initiative all followed her🤢

Absolutely Gargi .... almost all shows have same portrayal of woman .... But there are very few show which has change like Mahi Way , Rishta.Com , Even Jyoti initially was quite different then my all time favorite show "Radha Ki Betiyaan ..."

agreed radha ki betiyaan, rishta.com my fav shows too...jyoti was good for 2-3 months bt than same old drama..sasural genda phool is only good show 😊

I agree but at least the problems in Jyoti or her life were real . Or she knows how to fought for various issues , But Iccha only tolerates and smiles and cries such a one dimensional character ...

What an apt description of our soaps ideal Bhartiya Nari....PH are living in old ages , even that time woman folk was mentally strong.....Here they are just playing merry-go-round with the tracks and this way it will just go- on rolling....

Very true...i like to touch on some too like:

characters in baa bahu and baby were different, the whole show was different, it sad that its ended but best show that i ever watched .... mix of comedy and drama .... actully damini was in it and her character was totally different
