Jai's reaction on seeing Bani in his room

Hello Everyone!

I have been breaking my head on Jai's silent acceptance of Bani in his room... and i bet a lot of u out there are equally confused. I just had to give myself some explanation else i would be confused for ever. So this is the explanation i gave myself and i pretty happy with it... it is more of my wishful thinking than Jai's view 😆 I thought i would share it will all u guys.

Jai has had a terribly tough day. He got to know of Pushkar's arrest the 1^st thing in the morning. He tries his best to be unaffected and heads to work. When he is into work, pia barged in and went down on her knees begging him for mercy, then his not warranted for face off with Bani and towards the end of it he comes to know the entire situation through Ranveer.

He found himself in command of the situation… but suddenly he felt void deep inside. He didn't know what he should do or what he wants to do. He had to decide if he should be saving an innocent (only on this count) from the shambles of a wicked ploy or just sit back and watch the same be punished for he had wronged in a different regard. His heart was tugging him from all directions. There was another part of his heart which wanted some solace for its massacre which he seemed to think lied in their destruction. Then there was a part which stopped him from being heartless towards Pia and Pushkar coz he had loved them to an extent to care for their well being. To add to the misery there was Pia's memories which left him with the feeling of loss, rejection, and that of being ridiculed. He took to alcohol for he didn't know any otherway to handle it😕.

He dragged himself into his room totally devastated and dejected. He was going through a pang of loneliness & helplessness. His heart yearned for someone to show him they still cared for him… and cared JUST FOR HIM. As much as he needed to be comforted he needed to be left alone. He enters his room and there was an answer, a perfect solution for his complicated situation. BANI!

Bani stood in front of him a bit taken aback at what he had done to himself. He could see how genuine her concern for him was, her calmness seems to put his tensions at ease… her serene presence seemed to comfort his grief. Her small gestures showed him he mattered to someone and this time it wasn't for any favour in return. I feel Bani's gestures was more of maternal than that of a concerned wife.

There was so much of trust in between them that either of needed to hide their true emotion. Jai didn't find the need to be the JAI WALIA, the world knew. He could be himself and yet not be threatened by the fact that there was someone else in that room who was seeing this face of his. They shared a private space and moment based on understanding and respect.

Some divine power seemed ensure that Jai temper nor Bani's inhibitions got the better of moment. Jai couldn't get himself to tell her to leave the room, especially when subconsciously he knew he was looking for this. And I assume Bani had come over to talk to him about something and decided against it. I would like to believe that Bani seems to understand Jai and stayed back. It implied that Jai allowed her into his world and Bani was exercised her right of being a part of his world. This subconsciously established a sense of belonging to eachother. By the time Jai went to sleep he wasn't lonely anymore… he had realized his life is connected to Bani. What made his acceptance seems natural was the same thoughts and emotions reflecting in Bani's eyes.

The next morning when Jai got up and saw Bani… it hit him that the previous night was indeed real.

Btw… I am totally uncomfortable with the idea of Jai drinking. I really fear his emotional breakdown in front of Bani. And if Balaji camp is to be trusted with this situation…there is no doubt of what the out come will be. Balaji camp will dilute Jai and Bani's union to seem like a drunken mistake. I wont be surprised at all if it happens that way. 😕

That is it from me. I hope I made sense. I hope I was able to put words to what I felt could be the reason behind Jai's reactions on seeing Bani in his room.

WOW...WOW...WOW...Anu, you really have a way with the words...fabulous write-up! I am gonna save it on my Favorites list and read it again and again!

Very well written 👏 And extremely plausible!

But, somehow it seemed to me that Bani had been sharing Jai's room for some time, since their marriage...because, for one Jai did not look totally bewildered or surprised when he see's her in the room, he is just a little taken aback, because even though he is drunk, he is not compltely out of his senses! And secondly, Bani would never dare enter Jai's room, especially in his absence...if she had to talk to him, she would rather go to his study or to his Office, never to his room, without being called in first!

That means, something must have transpired for Jai to have told Bani to come and stay in his room, probably to put up with the facade of a married couple in front of the Family Members also.....

Not very clear on this though! But I really liked the way you have described Jai & Bani's relationship...yeah, even I thought that Bani's concern was more maternal than wifely 😳 Whatever the case be, it was just about the most touching scene I have watched in such a long time on Television!
