13. Band Baaja Baaraat

Distributor Share - 10 crore (expected)

Prints - 550

Share Per Print - 1.80 lakhs

Verdict - ABOVE AVERAGE

Note: When a film is in the same category like Hit then the one with the higher share is ranked higher. A film with total multiplex release must get higher print average as the grosses are much higher at multiplexes than small centres but last year saw even urban films like I Hate Luv Storys and Anjaana Anjaani getting pretty big releases.

Top 3... definitely deserving... They did entertain me...
Would have loved to see OUATIM little higher up in the list... Still glad it made into the top 6....
Definitely would have liked to see Peepli live and Ishqiya a little higher up on the list... Still good to see them in the top 10...
Good to see Anushka Sharma's movies make the list... Good track record... out of 3 movies she has done ... 1 blockbuster and 2 above average... Definitely very natural and talented in the newer lot... All she needs is a good PR...😊

Really happy for Anushka, I really feel shes the most underrated actress of BW. Shes had Rab ne which was a super hit, BC and BBB which were above average, I mean its a pretty damn good track record. Yet we still only see Deepika and Sonam being talked about everywhere, where she's a MUCH more talented actress! I feel like shouting at Kjo on KWK whenever he doesnt mention Anushka's name with DP and SK! 😆
Anway out of the top 5 I liked Dabbang, didnt like Golmaal 3 , Loved Rajneeti and MNIK, and Houseful......the less said the better.

No no it wasnt a flop, it was a super duper blockbuster..

TIn fact he movie was so good that people left the movie after the interval because they couldnt handle its awesomness. The story was soo brilliant that people's head hurt after the movie, because they had to use their brains so much, you know, cos the movie was so intelligent.
The movie was soooo interesting that people were on their phones during the movie not because they were bored but, you know, cos they were texting their friends about how amazing the movie is.
The movie was such a hit that you know, it fell 85% after the first weekend even though it was the holiday season, you know because people thought instead of going to the movie, they should go to the temple/mosque/church to thank god for being blessed enough to be able to watch TMK. 😉

TMK aside, happy for all the other movies for being on the list (except for Housefull). Such a silly movie that was. BBB should be higher up and so should OUATIM.
