Today's episode starts with a Dad and daughter having an argument at the breakfast table. Dad is asking daughter to go back to her husband's house but she refuses. Dad insists that she should for the sake of the baby and tells her that he has arranged for the money that Gautham (her husband) demanded. He then calls Gautham.
Next we are shown a guy going into a flat and security asks him to sign the register. He signs and then enters lift.
Anupam is in the hospital for some treatment. That girl is in a stretcher in serious condition and dad is pleading the Doctor to attend to her. Doctor refuses saying it's a suicide case so need to wait for police. Anupam intervenes and tells Doctor that he is from NCCW so go ahead and take the case. Doctor admits her. Anupam asks dad the reason behind the girl's condition. Dad says that Nandini is his daughter and when he entered the flat in the evening he saw the burners open; LPG smell was strong and found Nandini unconscious on the floor.
Nandini's husband Gautham, her in-laws and Gautham's younger brother comes to the hospital. The younger brother is the same guy who was shown entering the flat. Dad yells at Gautham for Nandini's condition and tells them that their greed has ruined his daughter's life. Doctor informs that Nandini is very serious and miscarried due to inhaling LPG and is in coma now. In-laws are angry that they were not informed about Nandini's pregnancy. Dad asks them to get lost.
A policeman, Tanvi and Raghav reaches hospital. Policeman is rude and performs his routine enquiry.
Mr. Saxena (Nandini's dad) tells Anupam that Nandini and Gautham married a year back. They demanded dowry and he gave them 8-9 lacs cash, 2 lacs worth jewelry and some other stuff. But their demand increased after marriage. Finally Nandini was fed up and had frequent fights with Gautham. About 25 days before Gautham demanded 2 lacs to pay deposit for a flat and had a fight with Nandini. That day Nandini walked out of that house. Just 2 days this LPG incident she came to know that she is pregnant so her dad decided to sent her back to husband's house with the money Gautham demanded. But when dad called Gautham told that he is busy and will send his younger brother Anand.
Madhavi and rest of the team discuss the motive behind attempted murder. Mr. Saxena calls and tells Anupam that Police has charged the case as suicide attempt. Raghav and Anupam go to Saxena's house in search of clues. Raghav sees a Pizza in the kitchen and dad tells them that it's Nandini's favorite Pizza. Anupam tells Raghav that either someone tried to kill her so he dragged her to the kitchen and opened gas knobs or she must have attempted suicide. Dad says there is no way Nandini would even think of suicide because she is a very strong woman and won't kill her unborn child. Anupam asks Saxena to file a FIR against Nandini's husband and in-laws for demanding dowry.
Anupam gets a call from a girl Aditi and she asks him to come home soon. Anupam panics and leaves for home soon. We find that Aditi is Anupam cousin (chacha's daughter) and came from Bhopal to Mumbai to do an internship. She called Anupam to give him sweets for getting a job with a travel agency. She tells him that for her first job she has to go to Kathmandu. Anupam tells her that she needs to take care of herself always because in this world there are good as wells bad people are there. As Anupam was leaving he finds some cigarette tabs in the ashtray. Aditi is puzzled but tells Anupam that it is her friend's boyfriends'.
At the police station Gautham, his parents and his brother Anand are detained by police because of FIR. Anupam and Tanvi interrogate Gautham and Anand in another room. Gautham tells them that he was busy that day so he sent Anand to get the money from Nandini's dad. Tanvi asks Anand what he did to Nandini? Anand is perplexed and tells her that he went to see Nandini and asked his bhabhi to go back with him to in-laws house. But Nandini got mad at him and asked him to get out. Tanvi asks if he really is telling the truth. Police comes and tell Anupam that they need to go and to meet in the court.
In the court Judge doesn't find any strong motive for attempted murder and also in the dowry case because Saxena is equally responsible for giving the dowry so Gautham, Anand and his parents get bail. They come out of the court happy. Madhavi asks rest of the team to search Nandini's flat again. Tanvi finds a Nandini's job offer letter as a financial analyst. Raghav finds her personal diary with daily expenses. He dad tells them that Nandini is a well organized girl and she always would write her daily expenses in that diary. Anupam finds an entry 'Taxi fare to Taneja's office' many times in the diary and they find the same entry on the day of attempted suicide too. It's like almost all 25 days when she was at her dad's place, she has gone to meet this Taneja. Dad says he doesn't know anyone named Taneja. Anupam wonders who this Taneja is?
