Business Baazigar- How soon can you set it up?

Aaj toh tumne mujhe budhdha bana diya" said a tearful Damodar Mishra to his co-participants who till date were his friends, or so he thought. This retired judge from Jaipur is the senior most of the bunch. At 67, Mishraji seems an odd fit with the rest of the short listed team. One assumes, a little unknowingly, that at an advanced age, the zeal to perform and the edge to out-grow are both diminished, sort of blunted. Hence Mishraji's entry was looked upon with skepticism. All the others scoffed from within, with just a hint of compassion from some. But Mishraji was undeterred and determined. Perhaps that is what led to his unfailing faith in his colleagues, one that was to get a rude shock very soon. Mishraji comes from a conservative 'marwari' family based in Sudershanpura in Jaipur. Having served as a judge for all his life, he believes in dispensing each task with conviction and justice. There are no unfair games to be played when he gets down to business. It was naivet on his part to assume then that all be supportive of his venture. Mishraji decided to participate in the competition because he could identify with the idea of lauding ones idea based solely on its merit. He believed that if the heart wanted it and the brain supported it, it was reason enough for the body to work for it. Years ago, when this gentleman had extracted a loan for a small project, it had hurt his sentiments; his ego had taken a beating. This time around, Mishraji vowed to execute his idea on the basis of its strength. "I have always regarded my self respect as my armor to face the world. The day my armor cracks is the day I shall put down my weapons. I am sure my idea is very unique and extremely beneficial to the public." But little did he know that the mere prospect of money would turn things ugly.

Take a moment to envisage; millions of rupees to be achieved, a few people left by themselves to achieve it, to fight it out. The consequences could be beyond imagination, fatal to a degree. It's the survival of the fittest. Could those in Mishraji's team actually team up against him? Would respect, humility, decorum be replaced by greed and jealousy? After all, it takes a while for young blood to blend with the older generation. Would the oldest member be seen as a spoke in the wheel, one that prevents it from gaining momentum? Mishraji had set out to find the answer to the one question he had asked himself when he was selected, "At this stage of my life can my little vision actually turn to reality?" Thankfully the winning team in this episode will have immunity till the next task. The fourth team stands to lose two people. Tonight's episode will tell us who inches closer to their dreams and who bids farewell to theirs forever. So will Mishraji move on towards his vision of a cotton revolution or will he fall in the web woven by his competitors? Will experience triumph over youthfulness? Or will Mishraji walk a lonely path?

The excitement, the tears and the ecstasy, all under one roof, only on tonight's and tomorrow night's episodes of Business Baazigar.
