Please put down all the complains about the SRGMP Show.
Plus improvements and suggestions.

Complains:
The format for each Mentor to have one finalist is not fair to the contestants.
All top ten contestants should be given prizes and cash. Not just kit kat.

Very good post Summer bhai! I think there should be some counselors who can guide all the contestants after the show is over. I think it will be hard for them once the show is over and it is very likely they will be lost in bheed of Mumbai especially the girl contestants.

Well, SRGMP has become more about making the contestant starry with layers of cake, new wardrobe, dance n drama. While all of this is important overall for a performer the show is about SINGING. The contestants need to be groomed , mentored, challenged so that they improve in their SINGING.
I don't recall any contestant who made an upward singing graph after the auditions!!! In fact have seen many going a downward spiral....
Emphasis needs to be given on Sur, Taal and Raag, there has to be a challenge each week. Every singer needs to be judged in whatever genre equally.
Not to forget, can we get a better 'song selection team', tired of listening to the same ol/new songs season after season.
And will the mentors ever stop flirting with the camera - acting weird, jumping around - wearing those equally weird costumes, out of the blue yell out a song, stand on chairs and groove, promote their singing .... etc etc etc
Bring back the dignity of Guru-Shishya parampara!!!

Yes they need career guidance. They easily get lost or get taken advantage of. Also many are in debts after the show.
Cash compensations for top ten singers if not all top 18 is something to be implemented.
I would like to know how much profits are made from each show too.
By getting a few more sponsors the contestants can be rewarded.
Among mentors there should be some Lady mentors too to guide the ladies.

Worst Saragama finale I have watched, the contestants only sang a few times, show was overshadowed by being too busy with other people's performances.
Kamal deserves to win, in winning he showed so much humility and grace, always with that sweet smile.
He and khurram were my favourites, I was praying that he will win, but on the weekly shows Bishakh was given so much hype by all the mentors to win, that I used to get mad, whereas Kamal was a better singer. Because of all the praises and hype given to Bishahk week after week, I thought he will surely win, Abilaisha second and poor Kaml third, but it turned out to be the opposite.
I agree that all top contestants should have been given some sort of cash and prizes.

They should have allowed the finalists to sing more songs and given Sniti and Sugandha also separate songs each.I loved the two of them singing Ek Tara..the stupid dancer in that horrible outfit with a slit spoiled the overall effect.
The mentors should have not sung at all.All they did is shout.
The first runner up is always sidelined and is never recognized properly in previous finals too.
Lots of people earlier complained when their favourites went out that Zee is manuplating the results.I wonder what their take is now.

Thank god they did not invite actors to give away the trophies.
