Abhay held Piya in his arms just watching her asleep was extraordinary. She was his angel. He would check her temperature to make sure she was Ok because he didn't trust Piya to tell him the truth about how she was really feeling. For those moments he'd shared with her he'd cherish forever. Piya made his dull room light up as if she was the sun. For Abhay it was the first time he'd really spent time in such a close proximity with Piya without wanting to suck the life out of her was replaced by his primal need to protect his mate. Piya was definitely a walking danger to herself not caring about her own life wanting to save those weaker beings that Abhay would be willing to save if only to stop Piya from endangering herself. Abhay was stunned at how easily Piya took his powers. She did not once look at him as if he were some freak from another world. Then again Piya was a special person wise beyond her years thanks to her being an old soul. He would keep her safe unlike last time he'd given up the fight for her in her last life which made him angry at himself for giving himself freely to a person who went behind his back and killed Sophia. Abhay couldn't see any weakness in Piya in fact she was stronger than he gave her credit for. Then again he did recklessly use his powers in front of her. The look on her face was a Kodak moment for him. It was of pure awe at what he could do. She wasn't afraid of him. Could he tell her what his true nature was or did she need more time to gather herself for more revelations he was to throw at her. Piya was so light against his hold. Piya began to stir. He tried to get her to fall asleep again but it was no use.

Piya drew away from Abhay-"Did U hold me like this throughout the night Abhay?"

Abhay smiled-"Yes. I didn't have the will power to let go of U."

Piya frowned-"Did U even get any sleep? I'm ruining your life aren't i?"

Abhay covered Piya's mouth with his hand-"Piya don't ruin this perfect moment by blaming my sleepless night on yourself because trust me I'm not big on sleep. U looked so peaceful in your sleep i didn't want to disturb besides i took advantage of the time alone just being together is a blessing in itself for me Piya."

Piya gave Abhay a little hug and headed to his bathroom to freshen up then she'd looked down at what she was wearing. Abhay's oversized black shirt and his boxers on she could feel her rosy cheeks flush. Piya wasn't aware of what she was wearing at night as the night was so eventful that none of this mattered. Abhay loved it every time Piya blushed it showed off Piya's face even more filled with colour.

Abhay teases Piya further-"U look sexy as hell in my clothes Piya. Maybe U should wear them all the time when we are alone. U are becoming very good at being a seductress. Piya Jaiswal i can't believe you've been hiding this wild streak from me like that!"

Piya-"Abhay! Oh my goodness i completely made a fool of myself didn't i? Trying to seduce U last night." She ran for cover in the bathroom.

Abhay-"Piya seriously i was joking. I didn't mean it like that. U were a little too hot for me to handle last night. I would rather U were making moves on me because it means U find me attractive. Than have the likes of T all over me."

After a few minutes Piya washed her mouth with a spare toothbrush Abhay brought out at night. She washed her face. Piya recollected her emotions remembering Abhay's comments. She couldn't believe he thought she was good at Seducing Abhay. She comes out smiling.

Piya-"So U think i'm sexy huh?"

Abhay grins-"Yes. U are a siren i'm finding hard to resist day by day. In fact i love U more each day than i did the previous day. U have bewitched me to the extent of no return now will U get out of my clothes and wear yours. Before i do something i regret. I had your clothes washed and they've been pressed too."

Piya stunned-"U do laundry? That too my laundry?"

Abhay-"I wasn't going to get my employees doing them now was i? Is it so hard to believe that i'm house trained? I'm a great cook to boot but i don't want to blow my own trumpet."

Piya-"Wonders never cease. U really are the whole package. Abhay Raichand U are a man after my own heart. I'm starting to think maybe U are hiding more things from me than just tour special abilities."

Abhay-"U get ready i'll whip U up some pancakes."

Piya gets changed in her own clothes which were immaculate. Abhay sure did a great job. Was there anything he couldn't do? He was like the perfect being ever. He was super special to her. Piya didn't care that Abhay could run really fast with great reflex or that his senses were heightened because now things made sense. They all added up. She would hide Abhay's secrets from the world. It would be kept between them. Piya wondered if his parents had these powers too. They scared the hell out of her but for Abhay she needed to put her fears aside. Piya would give them a chance. Maybe she could win over their hearts. Piya wanted to go visit Sheila in hospital. She completely forgot about her. Abhay did that to Piya. He was her world. Somehow everyone else seemed to get blocked out when she was with Abhay. Piya could smell pancakes downstairs. She ran down the stairs. Piya started sneezing away. Just wondering she could feel a cold coming on. Abhay rushed down to Piya.

Abhay looked concerned-"Here sit down. I'll get a thermometer. Something warm for U to drink. Coffee. No wait i'll mix a batch of lemon honey tea for U."

Piya-"I'm fine its just an ordinary little cold. Abhay relax. I'm fine really."

Within a minute flat Abhay brings Piya his special herbal tea he made up with ginger, lemon, honey and turmeric tea and a warm blanket. Piya slightly annoyed with a hint of wonder at Abhay's herbal remedy tasted really good. Abhay had to take Piya round to Misha's because he knew Chand was going to blow a gasket. Abhay needed to bring Chand around. The guy though was cold hearted had his moments. Haseena was brilliant at helping Abhay get Chand on his side. He had to get Piya out of the masion super fast because Chand didn't like surprises. He had a hard time dealing with Piya looking like the exact copy of Maithali as it was. Abhay brought out his homemade pancakes.

Abhay-"Piya U feeling a little better. It's my stupid fault."

Piya was taken back by Abhays remarks he always found a way to blame himself for everything-"Abhay don't U dare turn this into something its not. it's my fault. Quit being hard on yourself and taking the rap for my actions. At least i get some TLC from U. Look at the Brightside its the weekend. I can sit at home catching up with my studies i've fallen behind on and i have U to serve me at all times." Piya takes a bite a bite of the pancake he made.

Abhay-"U like it?"

Piya-"This is so mouth-wateringly delicious i could eat a hundred of them. But i won't i got to go home then check up on Sheila."

Abhay-"No way. U need bed rest. I know where U need to go."

Abhay makes a quick phone call to Misha. Then he hangs up. Abhay rushes upstairs and gets a can of air freshener and sprays his room full of it and some in the hall way. He hoped this would mask the scent of Piya in the house. Haseena could sniff out anything same with Chand. Abhay drove Piya to Misha's place ordering Piya to rest while Panchi collects the items from the hostel informing the warden that Piya will be staying at theirs until she is feeling better. Abhay instructs Misha to keep her away from the hospital and any strenuous work. Abhay promises Piya that he will take a pit stop at the hospital to check-up on Sheila's condition.

Abhay head back home and tries to fume the whole mansion with more air freshener. It was 9 am so Chand would be at work by now. He found Haseena lurking outside the garden. Oops he was caught red handed. Haseena had her grave face plastered on. The one Abhay knew all too well. She rushed into the house and scolded Abhay. If there was a staring killer contest Haseena would win hands down. She was starting to scare him a little until her expression changed into fear.

Haseena in her stern voice-"Air freshener Abhay! How stupid do i look to U? Actually wipe that smirk off your face Abhay it doesn't suit U. U are not a school kid."

Abhay-"It seemed like a good idea at the time!"

Haseena-"Abhay i can't believe of all the stupidity U bring Piya in our house. I can smell her all around. Did U really think air freshener would mask her smell."

Abhay nods sheepishly.

Haseena-"U were lucky Chand had a client first thing this morning or he'd had had your guts. Grilling U through to next year. U know what we are Abhay. Predators with killer instincts to kill. We have to contain our urges with so much difficulty. I could've hurt her. What was she doing here? On second thoughts don't answer it."

Abhay-"She got herself in trouble trying to help someone. I brought her here to keep an eye on her."

Haseena-"Piya has a habit of being the damsel in distress. Trouble follows her. Abhay U have to be careful. U can't reveal who U are."

Abhay omitted the part about Piya already knowing aspects of the truth-"U won't tell Chand?"

Haseena-"No but i had a good mind to do so. Abhay U need to sort everything into place first. Get Lexie here soon as possible. Before any real damage."

Abhay-"U don't like Lexie?"

Haseena-"She's blood. She's your family who is also a witch. Vampires and witches don't mix Abhay U know that. Only she can help U or are U waiting for a certain person to crop up. I will try to keep Chand out of the house. Until then keep Piya away. She's too potent to be around and U know this."

Abhay hugs Haseena for being understanding and helping him. He rushes out to make good on the promise he made to Piya to keep Sheila safe and make sure she was recovering. At Mount hospital Sheila was doing better than expected. She was on a drip. He could see she was in a deep sleep. Poor thing had gone through a lot. Abhay looked at her medical reports she was improving thats a good sign. He relayed the information to Piya on the mobile getting the 411 from Misha who was nursing Piya too much. He could hear a lot of arguments between Misha and Panchi while he spoke to Piya. He put the phone down. Good those sisters needed a chance to bond without knowing the full truth about their own relations. Meanwhile he had to call someone he was very close to but kept them far away from his double life.
