Jiah replied with weepy voice "I didn't want to hurt you but you come in front of my car and I got scared that you caught me". Abhi asked furiously "With the scare of being caught you hit me with your car". Jiah replied with teary eyes "I thought you moved away if I approached with speed". Abhi asked "Why had you stolen the research file on which I was working from past 6 month?" Jiah replied angrily "Because of that research you avoiding me from months and if it gets approved than you get busier in implementing your research methods. You had to shift on new city as well where you get more patients who is suffering from that disease on which you were researching. I don't want to leave New York at any cost for any disgusting place". Abhi asked "Even I forgive you for all that but I never going to forgive you when you left me for squirming in the middle of road on that night". Jiah weakly said "Abhi, I am so'" but Abhi interrupt "Leave from here". Jiah again tried "At least give me one chance to tell about my side of story". Abhi replied "I am not interested. Get out of here" and turned around to face the wall again. Jiah said "Abh'" but Abhi scream loud "OUT" which shaken Jiah as well Nikki who standing outside.

Jiah run away from his cabin, Nikki hide herself so Jiah didn't notice her outside and enter Abhi's cabin after she left. Nikki enter with slow steps, Abhi heard voice behind him, turns and shout "You haven't gone''." He short dead when he watch Nikki standing there, give long silence look to her, turn around to hide his pain and asked "Tell me what you want now?" Nikki takes steps closer to him and stand beside his table "I heard all the things that you and Jiah...'' but stop when he looks his side way. Nikki again encorage herself to continue "I am sorry, I heard all from outside" but Abhi gives only a long silence to her. Nikki doesn't understand how to talk to him about it, she can handle his anger, furious mood and his jealousy but his silence is killing her from inside. Whenever he is hurt, upset or jealous, he always angry, rude, throws tantrum and shouts but today he is silent as hiding many emotions inside him. She doesn't know this Abhi as his silence saying a lot, she always knows that this topic is very sensitive for him and he never like to talk about it.

Nikki asked nervously "Why didn't you tell me?" but Abhi replied huskily in order to avoid her question "It's my past. It had gone long back" and turns to leave the cabin. Nikki hold his wrist softly after he passed her "Yes it was but still I can feel your pain of that accident. You haven't even consider me good enough to share your pain" turn around and facing his back now. Abhi tilt his head lower, slowly turn to meet his teary gaze to hers and replied with swollen lump "Those pain should be shared which lower after telling your beloved ones not those which increase every time you think, tell about it. It always reminds you again and again of your insufficiency and incapability".

Nikki can feel how devastated he is from his accident case but can't stop herself from asking as this is one thing he never shared it from her. Nikki wants to be part of his pain and surrow in oder to take it away it is not possible until he shared this part of his life with her "May be you never trust anyone to share it. Not even me ". Nikki comes forward and cups his face in hers and begs teary "Share it with me Abhi. I can't see you suffering like that . You always says you never get solution if you run away from your problem but now you are doing the same. Don't run away, share it".

Abhi put his hand above her "What you want to know?" Nikki asked "Everything about it. From the beginning..". Abhi takes her hand in his, remove from his cheek and settled himself chair opposite his and Nikki stand in front of him against table. Abhi said "My mom wants me to marry Jiah but I was not ready for it as my career was at peek point at that time. I didn't want any distraction at that point of time. She emotional blackmail me, I had no choice left to married her. We always end up fighting with each other everyday, I don't know the exact reason but we are not happy with this relationship. She always complains of me not being there for her but I told her before marriage that I was going to be very busy for my work. She agreed at that time for giving me as mush time as I want".

Abhi told "I was not happy with her behavior to my mom. She fought with mom and blamed her for the distance between us. Though my mom never told me about it, but I found out from our home maid. My mom agreed me to live separately with her, the reason for which she agreed me to marry was suddenly change. Jiah thought the difference between us sort out than but it becomes more deeper and deeper with the time. I started hating her for separating me from my mother and I spent more time in my work so that I didn't think much about it". Nikki put her one hand on his shoulder and one is in his, Nikki tears making path to her cheek by watching tears in his eyes. She never watches him so vulnerable and teary eyes, he is strong men who never believe in showing their emotion rather than anger and jealousy but today he is actually like a baby who has no fear in showing their weakness and fears.

Abhi continue "From the beginning there was nothing right between us but still we dragging it. She dragging it because her wish of getting me is not fulfill and I drag it for my mom happiness. But that night finished it all I had in my life". Nikki get confuse and asked "What do you meant? What happen that night?" She can feel Abhi is feeling cold shivering down his spine in thinking about that night and his words shaking "Jiah told me the day before that night she was leaving for her friend's marriage. I usually working late night in the hospital, I went to the nurse station for signing some documents. The receptionist told me that one lady came to meet me in burkha and she sent her to my cabin. I was going to my cabin when I bump with one lady, I apolgise to her and again proceed toward my cabin".

But I find little wired because that lady also wearing burkha, so I retreat my path and called her from behind. She didn't heard me or may be she acting of not hearing, I followed her with big steps but she increased her speed. I found that she was carrying my research file on which I working so hard for so long, I called her many times but she started running. I took one stretcher and slid it toward her, it hit her and she fall down. She got up, started running again but research file fallen from her hands. I collected the file and told receptionist to keep it safe. I ran behind her because I want to know who is she and what she got in stealing my research work. I came out from hospital in running behind her, she got up in one car which was standing outside hospital gate. I also got inside my car and started following it".

Nikki listening very carefully "I followed her for approx 1 or 1/2 hr with 110 speeds. I thought if I had to caught her than I had to took new path. I turned my car on left turn, so that she thought that might be I stopped following her. I reached on the path before her from where she is going to pass. I hide my car on next turn, and stand on the road so that I could stop her car. I saw her approaching, I stood in the mid way so that she stops her car. She applied brake to her car at little distance far from me, I walk toward her car. But before I could understand anything she accelerate her car again, approach to me with full speed and hit me very hard". Abhi chokes and Nikki shut her eyes tightly as she saw it from her eyes.

One tear which Abhi is holding from long time is finally flow down on his cheek and Nikki also can't able to stop her tears also from flowing. Abhi said with choked voice "I flew away with one hit in air and land on the road hard with in a second. All the things around me is floating, I was in semiconscious state but I noticed the car which hit me is stopped and the lady in it drop down. She approached toward me, she put her hand on my face to notice whether I am alive or not than she kept her hand on her head. I noticed her hand carefully she is wearing the engagement ring and mom bangles than I found this none other than Jiah. She look on either side on the road to noticed whether any one watch her doing this accident or not. I watched her face as well from sides of opening Burkha as well but unfortunately no ones around. She got up, went towards her car, I want to call her to help me out from this pain but my voice was not coming out".

Abhi tears now flowing unstoppable and even Nikki can feel his pain now "She left from there in her car, I was feeling a lot of hammers was applying on me and the pain is unbearable. I want to scream because of the pain but my voice is also not helping me, I was watching here and there in hope that some one will come to help me. I want to move but my body part also given up, only thing left in my hand is to look upside to the sky. In that condition I was begging to the god let me die because pain is increasing with the time, I could not able to handle that pain even for a single second. I never felt so weak and helpless in my life ever but at that time I was wishing for death as it much easier than this painful life. I can say that I had seen death from very near, but in that condition I was afraid for life more than death". With last sentence Abhi completely broken, lower his head and shut his eyes in surrender. Nikki is not able to tolerate to watch him like that, she immediately move forward and takes his face in his embrace. She held him tight, one hand around his shoulder and his head is covering around it.

She provides comfort to him so that he can pour out all his pain in her embrace. She puts her head on him and crying with him, she wants to take away all his pain from him. Abhi snuggles more in her embrace, held her tight from waist and pull her close, he gets someone once in a life with which he can share his fear, pain and tears comfortably. Nikki soothes him with her hands on back and head, Abhi soothes now to continue "I didn't know how long I lay there and who brings me in hospital but doctors told me that I was laying there for 4 or 5 hours. Doctors told me that its my will power who kept me alive so long but I know that God had planned something for me worse than this. It was true that I got my breathe back but not life, I got my consciousness after two days. Doctor informed me that my left hand shoulder was broken, I never able to perform surgeries in my life. In one second my dream and my career were destroyed in front of my eyes, even I can't live a normal life". Abhi tilt his head up to look into Nikki eyes, pain is clearly visible in his eyes "You know why? My half body got paralyzed, now I can only rely on others to do my small-2 things". Nikki slides her hand down from his head and back in shock with teary eyes, Abhi also loosen his grip from her waist and get up from his chair.

Abhi moved away, lean on other side of table beside her, Nikki turn toward him and asked "why didn't you complain against Jiah?" Abhi said with tighten jaw "What complain I register against her, when her friend called me to ask when I was coming to attend her marriage as she informed me that my wife was there from last 4 days. I didn't have any proof against her and above that how my mom was going to tolerate that if I complained. I already loose the battle of my life, my mom not even taken up my accident news properly than how could I prepare her for another shock. She was dead coz of heart attack with in a two weeks after my accident. I didn't even get a chance to lit his body that's because of Jiah. I hadn't even able to kept my dad last word of take care of my mom. The dreams which I and dad had been watch of my being best cardiologist surgeon also vanished. The partners of my research work also removed me from the project without even telling me once. They not even mention my name in research work for which I had even given my sleepless night. People who know me were start avoiding me, who gives respect, now sympathizes with me. Huh. One accident change my entire life and behavior of others toward me" Abhi shakes his head in defeat.

Nikki asked hesitatingly "Didn't Jiah was there to take care of you?" Abhi turn his angry face toward her "Yes she was there but I couldn't tolerate her for a single second. If she couldn't help me when I was dying than I didn't need her help after than. We didn't interact after that, may be she didn't want to spend life with a paralyzed person like me". Nikki put her hand on his shoulder, squeezed it "I had decided that I was not going to lead this kind of life. I went to the Canada for therapy session, there I devoted 4 months in my improvement process. After that I had atleast got on my foot and could lead an independent life without anyone help. But there was one more battle to won, my career. I never think any other career as option other than Cardiologist surgeon in my life but now life hadn't left any other choice for me. I opt to the administrative job in hospital because I had much knowledge about new medical technology, treatment and schemes to take it to another level. I left America becasue i don't want my past to show its glimpse on my new life which i was trying to make for myself. I joined in Delhi chain of hospitals to understand how funds were bring to hospitals but here in india patients were more but funds" Abhi gives fake smiled.

"Than I had heard that Sanjeevani which is going at financial loose at that time and can be shutdown at any time. No one interested in this hospital to give their funds, board's member also pulled their hands of support. But I found my opportunity in that, I got chance to prove myself and world again that I can make impossible to possible. I promised myself that I was not only make this hospital came out its crises but also makes it India's most reputable hospital. I came forward and stop board member from shutting down Sanjeevani but they had to let me handle Sanjeevani affairs on my ways without interfere. They given me 3 month challenge to decrease Sanjeevani expenses and bring funds to it so that they can again start thinking about their decision of its shutting down". Nikki smiles with teary eyes "You did it" with one hand on his shoulder and other on his shirt. Abhi also smilingly replied "Its not that easy as you all intern are group against me and tried everything possible to annoy me. You all interns trouble me a lot especially you. Slowly I found that you all were not that bad but quite irritable for sure".

Nikki's one hand rest on his other shoulder and other hand roam above from his chest to neck than buried in his hair and make him look closely to her. Abhi eyes open slowly, he find one lone tear in her eyes which she is holding exactly how she holding her love for him. Abhi wipes that tear from his thumb tip, Nikki closes her eyes in return and moves forward her lips in total surrender. Abhi put one hand behind her head and other on her back, Abhi also close his eyes as well in surrender and both their lips parted in order to explore each other. Both kiss each other as if there is no tomorrow, their kiss become deeper and deepen with that Nikki moves her hand from one shoulder to other from behind in order hold him tight closer to her and Abhi also pulled her more close by sliding his hand from her back to waist by clasping it tightly. They both drawn in their passion, desire and feelings that they forget where they standing and for how long they are like this. Both holding each other tightly in their embrace, kissing like as if there is no tomorrow.

Nikki's phone start beeping but they are so lost in each other that their senses are only reacted for each other inspite of other thing present in the room. It beeps several times but not attended than voice message is played "Hey Nikki, how long I am calling you. Are you alright? If you are busy than call me back. I am waiting. Bye. Love you". Sid voice snaps them out from their passionate scene, Abhi slides his hand lower from his head and waist, Nikki stand still in that position, watching at her phone and Abhi remove Nikki's hand from his hair and shoulder. Abhi moved away from her side, turn his back toward her and run his hand from his hair. Nikki watch him dumbstruck but stand still there, Abhi find that Nikki is still standing behind him. Abhi said with husky voice "I think you should go. Tomorrow is your engagement with Sid and you are here with me'''.." Nikki got tears in her eyes and pleadingly says "Abhi..." and move one step toward him but he signal her with his hand to stop move ahead. Abhi chokingly said "Don't come near me Nikki. You get nothing in return except infamy. I have nothing to offer you better in life like Sid. Go away!"

Nikki left his cabin in rush with teary eyes, Abhi also get tears in his eyes to watch her go away from him. Abhi thinks "Why it always happens to us. Our love makes our situation from bad to worse. First time in life I am able to share my pain which hiding deep inside my heart to someone but when she is going away far from me in life. She is right its help to share your pain with your beloved ones but now the other pain take over it which much more unberable than before. How much I tried to stop her coming near me but she is get much more inside me that it makes me difficult to separate her for myself. Why she came so close to me when she has to leave me alone".

Sid gives the card to Abhi, he hold it in his hand and remember that he tear the card when Nikki came to give him. Abhi said looking at Nikki "I don't think I should have to come there". Nikki remember their closeness in his cabin which Abhi also remembering, Nikki lower her eyes in order to hide her emotions. Sid find Abhi gaze on Nikki and come to her "Nikki why don't you call him? I am sure he definitely comes if you call him". Sid drags Nikki with him and stands her in front of him "Tell him to come". Nikki said with lower eyes "I oblige if you come '.." Sid tell in her ear "with you wife". Nikki said uncomfortably "with your wife" Abhi turns to go but she again said "I will wait for you" from his behind. Abhi turn again to find her eyes on him which saying a lot. Abhi replied "If you want me to come than I definitely come" and leave from there.

Sid smilingly replied "Thanks Nikki I know you don't like Dr. Modi but still you invited him for my sake. Thanks". Nikki gives him fake smiled and leave by bidding her goodbye.

(Engagement Day- It is taken place on Armaan and Ridhimma new house in which they shift after their marriage. Ammy consider Nikki as her best friend so he takes whole responsibility of her engagement. Nikki has no family except AR so all preparation is taking place there, all girls collect on AR house to get ready for occasion. Sid also doesn't know anyone except them, his mother only make out for 5-6 hours to be on his engagement. So she directly present on occasion, everyone is very busy because engagement date is fixed so soon that nobody get time for preparation.)

All are busy in preparation

Armaan, Atul and Rahul are busy in decorating hall and other outside stuff needed. Anjali and Muskaan in the room are chirping around about what they going to wear, which jeweler suits their attire and about their hair style. Ridhimma enters in the room with Nikki dress which she is going to wear for engagement. Anjali, Muskaan compliment Sid for Nikki's dress selection, but Ridhimma didn't find Nikki there to look for her dress. Ridhimma asked "Where is Nikki?" Muskaan replied "She said she get suffocated inside house so she go to balcony for fresh air". Ridhimma put her dress down and go to balcony where she standing silently and thinking something deeply. Ridhimma asked "Nikki, are you alright". Nikki turn, nod in confirmation and remain silent but it didn't satisfy Ridhimma.

Ridhimma asked "What are you thinking?" Nikki replied disappointingly "Nothing, just thinking what I want, I am never going to get and what I am getting that I never want". Nikki replied teary "Why god given us life when they didn't give us a chance to make our choices?" Before Ridhimma can say anything Anjali and Muskaan also come there "What you both are doing here? Nikki now if you get fresh air from your suffocated life than come inside and watch the lovely dress that Sid chooses for you". Nikki only heard her first line "I don't know when I get that in life". Muskaan quizzes her "Are you thinking about that Modi?" Ridhimma interrupt her "No, she is not" Anjali look at Muskaan and say by putting her hand on Nikki's shoulder "Muskaan why are you taking his name of such a good occasion? Nikki has nothing to do with him now. Okay. Sid is very good for her as compare to him". Nikki gets uncomfortable with her friends words now and Ridhimma noticed her fidgeting from her sister's word.

Ridhimma said "Lets go inside, we have to do lot of preparations" to divert minds of other. All start moving inside but Nikki said "I think I should tell Sid about me and Abhi" which make them to stop abruptly and turns toward her. Nikki looks at them "I don't want to hide the truth from him when he is planning his future with me. He has the right to know the truth of our relation". But before any girl answer Armaan appear "I don't think you should" all turns toward him. He march toward Nikki "Look Nikki, here situation is different, Sid admire Dr. Modi a lot and if you'll tell him the truth than may be he consider you wrong rather than Modi. In fact the truth is that he is wrong not you, but in every situation only girl get the blame". Nikki eyed him "If anyone is wrong than we both not him only. Why are you always..." but Armaan raise his hand to interrupt "Stop defending him atleast now. I know it's useless to argue with you in this matter. Sid loves you, take care of you well and tell him when he understands you well. May be than he understand well how innocent you are, how easy for other to be benefit by this".

Nikki doesn't have the strength to argue with him, Armaan eye Ridhimma "Get her ready for engagement, Sid and guests will soon going to come". Ridhimma nods and bring Nikki inside to get ready with other two girls and Armaan get downstairs. All girls are trying to get Nikki ready by doing her hair style, wearing her bangles, jewellery and setting her chuni but she lost somewhere else, continuously looking down and not aware of happenings around her. All are excited around her except her who feeling her heart and soul is left there with Abhi but Ridhimma notice it from her face but unable to do anything to help her. Anjali and Muskaan exclaimed simultaneously "Wow Nikki, you looking gorgeous in it. If you don't believe us than look at the mirror". Nikki is still lost and didn't hear what her friends told her, Ridhimma shakes her by patting hand on her shoulder. Nikki snaps out and heard some lady voice "humm you are beautiful than I imagine. Sid doesn't tell me about you properly but I am happy he chooses you". All girls look toward her including Nikki, Armaan come forward to introduce her "She is Sid's mom. She come here some time before and wants to meet Nikki urgently. So I bring her here".

She moves forward, take some kajal in her finger tip from her dressing table and put it on behind Nikki's ear "I am glad to meet you finally after hearing so much about you from past few days". Nikki gives her fake smile and she in return cups her face and kiss her forehead "Now I am not going to take more time of you. I know you want to get ready for my son. I leave now". Nikki gulped a dry lump formed in her throat to hearing her words.

On the other hand

Jiah finds Nikki's engagement card on Abhi's desk and ask "Will you go there?" Abhi replied absent mildly "No, I am not going". Suddenly Abhi realized Jiah presence in his cabin "I'll go there or not. It is none of your business. Go away". Jiah replied smilingly "I know why you are upset. Thank god finally you realized that she doesn't love you". Her sentence irked him and she start closing her distance with him "I am the only one in this world who loves you Abhi". Abhi pushes her hard away from him "Stay away from me. I loved her, loves her now and will going to love her entire my life. If you think you get me after her going away from me than you are wrong. She will always live with me in my love, heart, soul and memories. Always". He left his cabin by saying that Jiah stand there with a frustration on his renounce of her.

In the party

The party is going on in full swing, Sid is also arrived there with his mother and waiting impatiently for Nikki to come. His mother watches him in amusement "Relax Sid darling, girl takes time to ready especially when someone is waiting for them impatiently". Sid replied "Mom please don't pull my leg. I am not waiting for her only but one special guest as well". His mother gives him confuse look, Sid smilingly replied "Mom, you forget why I came in India and why I joined Sanjeevani". His mom "Oh, your idol Dr. Abhimanyu Modi. How is he? Where he is, I want to meet him". Sid said by revolving his eyes "he didn't come uptill now" but his eye catch Jiah in the party. Sid drag her mom with him "Hello Ms. Modi, I hope you are enjoying the party. Where is Dr. Modi?"

Jiah replied "Ah actually he got busy in some work so may be he is not able to attend the party. May be you are not happy to watch me here". Sid replied "No it is not like that. I am actually waiting for Dr. Modi but I am glad atleast you make it in order to fill his emptiness". Armaan, Rahul and Atul watching Sid talking with Jiah and Atul said "Who call her here?" Armaan replied "Champ, you forget Sid himself invites Abhi and his wife in this party and I couldn't even stop him to do that". Rahul replied "We couldn't because Sid admires Modi a lot and if we stop him, he will ask so many questions with us. But we have to make sure that she doesn't create any scenes over here like last union party". Armaan said confidently "I don't think she do anything. She should be happy if Nikki is going to engage with other". Atul and Rahul agreed with him.

All guests look upstairs as its time for girls to enter in the party with Nikki. Anjali, Muskaan and Ridhimma bring Nikki down than Nikki eyes caught Abhi entering the party. Abhi find all guest staring upstairs, he look into their direction and find Nikki's eyes on him. Both can feel the goose bump by finding each other staring toward them. Sid comes in front of Nikki's eyes, block her view to Abhi "You are looking gorgeous". Nikki lowers her eyes and mumble "Thanks", Sid put his hand behind her and start introduces her with guest. Nikki gets uncomfortable with his hand behind her. Sid find Abhi standing far from crowd, he called his mother and takes Nikki with him "Mom, he is Dr. Abhimanyu Modi who I am talking about".

His mom "I heard a lot about you from my son. He is telling me about you from years. I want to thank you". Abhi confusedly ask "Why you want to thank me? Why did I do?" His mom replied "My son becomes a good doctor because of you. He admire you a lot that he done all the things like you did in your college time. I had one fear that may be like you his work becomes his first love and he might lose interest in girls". Sid elbows her mother to stop but she continued "But now I am happy that because of you he comes to India and finds Nikki as her partner". Abhi sarcastically replied "Huh I am not even realized that I am the root cause of all this happening" and gives the eye to her. His mom start again "What kind of wife you have? She doesn't even know whether you going to come or not. I find her little wierd'." but before she complete he drags her out in other direction and left Nikki there.

Nikki asked "I thought you will not going to come". Abhi replied "Humm even I decided that but you want me to come here. You said it is my time to suffer the pain that's why I am here". Armaan gives signal to Ridhimma to bring Nikki from there, Ridhimma goes near her and Abhi excuse himself from there. Nikki is busy with others but her eyes drawn to him time by time and whenever Abhi turns he caught her staring at him but she look away whenever he caught her. Nikki find Abhi at the bar ordering some drinks, she get shocked that the person who not able to tolerate a single drink is taking pegs. Nikki excuse herself from Sid immediately to talk something with Ridhimma. Nikki called Ridhimma "Ridhimma, Abhi is getting drunk on the bar. Please stop him, he can't handle it". Ridhimma calm her down but Nikki gets hyper "You forget the valentine day party. I got him drunk purposely and I had to take him back home. He is not able to digest it, he vomited it many times than and becomes very uncomfortable".

Ridhimma assures her that she is going to talk to him but before she reach there Sid appear there. Sid announces "In the occasion of me and Nikki engagement, I like to request Dr. Modi to sing a song for us". Abhi nod his head in negative "I can't sing" but Sid request "Don't lie Dr. Modi, I know you sing really well. I heard that you sing in medical college fest many times. Please it's a request". Abhi shakes his head in negative but Sid said "You swear your loved one" and Abhi agreed with his eyes on Nikki.

(All gather around Sid and Nikki but Nikki eyes are on Abhi who was standing behind all the crowd. He left the party as Sid takes Nikki hand in his and put a ring in her finger)

Nikki diverts her attention back to her hand and find Sid's ring on her finger. Armaan takes out ring from box and gives to her and she put it on Sid's finger with teary eyes.

Same Night at 1:00 am

Sid and Nikki come back from airport in the car after seeing off his mother. He stops car at her home where Anjali and Muskaan are staying for a night. Nikki steps out from his car and start moving toward her house but Sid stops her "Nikki, Wait". Nikki turns, find Sid also steps out from car, come close to her and lean to kiss her but she backs out "Sid I am tired. I want to take rest. Bye". Nikki left Sid disappointed there, runs toward her home, get inside and bend her head against door. Nikki finds her jumble in life situation between what she wants and what she is getting.

Anjali and Muskaan call her inside and tell her to have some sleep because they have to resume their duty again in hospital tomorrow. Nikki get herself settle at the side of the bed while both lying beside her on the same bed. Both slept due to tiredness of whole day spent in preparation of engagement but Nikki is not able to sleep because today date changes everything in her life.

After 1 hour (2:00 am)

After tossing a lot on the bed, she gets up, stand near the window and thinks about how her life is changes. She looks at her ring which reminds her of being away with Abhi forever. That single thought disturbing her a lot, making her uncomfortable that Abhi is not her any more. He is not even before but still she always feel that whenever he near her. Her life is getting embroiled in right and wrong so much that she not able to judge now what is real and what is dream. She is not understanding whether she is doing right or wrong by engaging with Sid or not.

Nikki phones ring which snaps her out of her thinking, she finds unknown number beeping on her mobile. She receives it and heard "Dr. Nikita, your patient Shekhar Talpade is unwell. I had given him the injection that you suggested but I don't think it's going to help him. Please come to Sanjeevani as soon as possible". Nikki replied worriedly "Ok I am coming". Nikki immediately picks her car key and rush to hospital without telling her friends about it as they are in deep sleep.

In the hospital

Nikki immediately rushes to the patient private room but bump with Abhi in mid way and he asked "What are you doing here at this hour?" Nikki hurriedly replied "My patient is unwell. I have to rush". Abhi follows Nikki worringly, Nikki comes to chamber for checking the patient pulse, report card and written one injection name on one slip. Abhi takes that slip from her hand, I'll send the nurse to bring it from store room. Nikki nodes, Abhi tells one nurse at nurse station to bring that injection from store room. Nurse told him that you forget to sign that slip as she will not able to bring it from store with out any doctor signature on that slip. Abhi sign it and give it to her, nurse bring it from store room and handover it to Abhi.

Abhi goes back to room and hands that injection to Nikki, she gives injection to the patient and said "I haven't even sign the doctors register for my entry". Abhi replied "Don't worry, you can sign it later on". Nikki unable to stop herself to ask "Are you alright, I mean you drunk in the party. You are not used to it, you vomit a lot after it". Abhi replied "I am not used to of many things but life make you do many things which you don't want to". Nikki watches him silently but suddenly her attention drawn to the patient whose pulses are dipping. Nikki get shocked that why the patient pulses is dropping as he is normal some time back, Abhi also checking his reading on the machine which showing high variation. Before Nikki could understand anything of what happening with patient Abhi inform her "He is dead".

Nikki astonishingly asked "WHAT??" and gets panic "How can this possible? He is normal some time back, I had given him injection to control. Check him again. He can't die, you had mistaken". Abhi check him again, shakes his head in negative towards Nikki. Nikki get tensed, her eyes fill with tears "How can he died when there is no problem. He is going to discharge tomorrow". Abhi stares at her and she said with shaking voice "I killed him". Abhi tried to make her understand "you didn't do anything" but she didn't listen to him and keep repeating "I killed him". But Abhi shakes her by shoulder "I told you, it is not your fault" but before she say it loud that she killed him Abhi cover her mouth with his hand tightly and drag her out in fire escape so that no one can notice them. Abhi grip her mouth with his hand so tightly that she faints in his arms due to tension. Abhi remove his hand from her mouth when she loose her total weight on him and he hold her by encircling his both hand on her waist.

Abhi sat her on the stair with her head on the wall, gives light slap on her face in order to wake her up. Nikki wake up, see Abhi sitting in front of her and she clutch Abhi's collars "I had watch very bad dream Abhi that my patient died in front of my eyes". Abhi hesitatingly replied "It was not a dream Nikki. Shekhar Talpade is dead". Nikki bitterly cried by lowering her head and clutching his collar, Abhi takes her in his embrace and hold her tight against his chest. Nikki hides her head on his unbutton chest, still holding his collar, crying with guilty. Abhi cups her face in his and makes her look in his eyes "Nikki forgets about this incident". Nikki weeply replied "But Abhi..." but Abhi stop her by putting his finger on her lips "Shh listen to me carefully. You have to swear me that you are not going to tell anybody about it not even your friends. You go home, I'll handle everything".

Abhi remove his finger from her lips and cups her face again but Nikki shook her head in negative "No Abhi'". Abhi take her hand in his hand, put it on his head "You swear me, if you tell anyone than you watch my dead face". Nikki put her other hand on his lips "Don't say that" Abhi draws her hand down from his head, clutch the other which is on his lips and kiss it "Than do as I am saying". Abhi stands her up by lifting her through waist, held her hand in his and bring her out from hospital back gate. Abhi turns "Wait here for me. I'll be there in 2 mins" takes her car keys and drive her car there.

Abhi leave Nikki and her car at her doorstep and turn "Remember you swear me. Don't tell anyone about it. Go inside". Nikki comes to her room and snuggles fiercely at her side of bed beside Anjali and Muskaan. She doesn't know when sleeps take over her as she exhaust completely from all the ups and down happened to her today. Today was the longest day of her life which going to change her life forever.
