I thought Ganti Dadi shooing off Arushi when she reached for her feet was the best scene of the day and probably one of the top three moments of the week. She saw threw Arusia's fake behavior right from the beginning. Add to that her rudeness and public insults to Prats sealed it for Ganti Dadi. She gave a look of disgust at the mukh dikayi. We never saw her try to get GD's blessing on that day. GD has become bolder in showing her disapproval openly these days.
As much as SS wields power in the Niwas while he is fast losing his grip on his children he knows Baba is daring enough to walk out of the Niwas with Prats and make a living for himself. He can still push around obedient KN and the only reason he even accepts Arusia is bec' he is desperate for a potha and the condition that it be a pure bred Takur has gone out the window. Interesting how people are ready to let go on the stipulations when the chances seem bleaker.
Overall, SS has two others on his side (RED) who pretty much follow his lead and really don't have a trump card at their disposal. Ganti Dadi has secrets that no one realizes she holds besdes Kesar. Prats has GD's and Krishna's support. Kesar has all the secrets, enough to throw RED in jail for attempted murder on more than one occasion. So Kriya with Kesar and GD is a solid team against RED with a handicap named Arusia.
