Ofcoarse the two of them will have very different job prospects (which in all likelihood will translate to very different pay scales). We might finally get the story moving back to the challenges of an educated girl being married to a less educated man, which is a growing trend and shift everywhere.

Don't know what Arushi is thinking - maybe tommorrow night she should drug herself. Another night she can arrange for a fire in some corner of the house forcing them all to evacuate. She has not tried hypnosis yet. Maybe she can hang out at pediatrician offices in hope of catching the measles. Or she could tell him that they had sex before he fell asleep and cannot believe that he does not remember and sulk about how her feelings are hurt for a night or two after which she can annouce to all that she is pregnant and the doctor has instructed her not to have sex until the baby is born. (because really shouldn't every Sax child be involved in a fake pregnancy without having ever had sex)

As an aside - why can't Adarsh work? He works in an office environment. He is not a construction worker or professional athlete that being in a tum tum renders him incapable of performing his job duties

On a different note, in such financial crises, Adarsh should be working. I understand he can't easily go to his office, but there are some stay-at-home options as well.

A friend of mine does this. She is unfortunately confined to a wheel-chair since her teenage years. She doesn't really need the money but to spend her time, she takes tuition classes at home for little kids. Works out well for her, why not for Adarsh?
