Y'day was one of the defining moments in their LS. The ice around his heart has finally started to thaw. Knowing Dutta, I think he'll revert to his gruff self once he's sober. But I get this feeling that this time it's gonna be different. He has tried convincing himself and the world that he hates her. Y'day night all his defences just crumbled. He admitted to himself and to her that it is her he seeks for in his loneliest of nights. It is only she who can satiate his hunger, and dry his tears. Her pain affects him. Her happiness matters to him.
So, I guess we will be seeing a new Dutta from today. Not a gruff, hateful one. Not a lovesick one. Someone who has looked into his heart and found that there's a garden in bloom. His eyes will seek her, and he will find himself looking at her, unable to take his eyes off her. He will remain detached, yet his actions will clearly tell us that he has fallen in love, irrevocably. He can never go back to being sad, or lonely again.
