panjabi is not far from hindi. my medium of education was panjabi but as far as i remember me and my parents always spoke hindi.

it is not fault of kamal if he sings panjabi songs more as this program has already chose such singers who can show their perfection in their area.

i myself am lacking satisfaction from songs of kamal.

I like Kamal and I like Punjabi songs but it is really it really comes off as one person in a Regional songs round all by himself. I don't see Sugandha doing this. Again, I like Kamal and I like Punjabi songs but when almost every song is Punjabi, it stands out.

i don't see a problem with an "overdose" of punjabi songs, and i don't think you should either. most hindi songs these days have some punjabi in them. and if some singers do feel comfortable singing punjabi songs, they shouldn't be penalized. after all, punjabi is one of the languages of india. and its not written anywhere that just because the show is called saregamapa, they are going to sing all hindi songs.
