beautiful update!! of course our maan had to have a reason as to why he made geet resign!! and maan inviting sasha to his wedding, NICE!! i really loved this update!! really excited for the next!! have a feeling its going to be a romantic one!!

Continued from here:

On returning to his cabin, Maan was greeted by his lawyers.

"Have you drawn up the documents I had called for?" he asked without preamble.

They nodded their heads and handed him the requisite papers. Maan scanned through them and nodded his head in satisfaction and thanked them for speeding up the paperwork, after which the lawyers took leave of him.

The whole afternoon he was busy in a series of meetings with the clients. He left his office a little early that evening and stopped over at a jeweller's shop on the way. He pulled out a bill out of his pocket and handing it over to the manager of the store he asked him if he recollected the items mentioned in it. The proprietor of the store crinkled his eyebrows in deep thought as his eyes quickly ran through the bill. Soon his face brightened and he looked up at Maan with a broad smile.

"Yes, Sir, I do remember this particular transaction although it was quite some time back. Never have I seen such an exquisite collection of antique jewellery. You don't get such stuff these days, Sir."

Maan asked if he was still in possession of them.

The proprietor nodded his head and said, "I almost have them all. You see, as I paid a fortune for them I did not want to dispose them unless I got a good price. So barring a couple of rings, which I had only recently sold, the entire collection is with me."

Maan was relieved to hear this and asked to be shown the collection immediately.

The proprietor called out to his assistant and gave instructions to bring out a large velvet jewellery box. He then opened the box and spread out the jewellery for Maan's inspection.

"As you can see Sir, the workmanship is marvellous and the stones engrained in the pieces are all genuine. Going by the design, this jewellery collection looks like it has been handed down at least four generations."

Maan quickly scanned through the jewellery and said, "I'll take the entire lot."

"Entire lot, Sir? Are you sure, Sir? These are quite expensive. At the current gold rate, they will cost you a lot."

"How much?" asked Maan, not wanting to waste his time negotiating.

The proprietor weighed the jewellery and taking out a calculator, he quickly made some calculations.

"It will cost you Rs.2.05 crore," he said.

"What Maan Singh Khurana wants, he gets," Maan said cryptically and taking out his cheque book, he quickly wrote out a cheque for the amount.

The proprietor gladly accepted it in both his hands and laid it at the foot of the large picture of Goddess Lakshmi hanging in his store, before putting it away in his locker. He neatly packed the velvet case and handed it over, requesting Maan to frequent his shop with his better half.

The store owner smiled jubilantly as his eyes fixed on Maan's retreating back. It's not every day that one makes a neat profit of 25 per cent over the purchase price. He can take his entire family on that world tour they have been troubling him for.
