From the name of this serial - Rakt Sambandh i.e. blood relationships, one would conclude that despite the disparate forces that draw the 5 sisters far apart from each other - Savita & Sakshi in Mumbai, Shradhya in Kolhapur, Shreya in Ratnagiri & Sandhya in Gwalior, they'd have a very intuitive bond b/w them that's greater than even their attraction to their own families.

But lately, the sisters have disappointed. First was when Rohit came to Sakshi's house and insulted Shradhya right in front of her. That's when Shradhya should have perked up and told Sakshi what was really happening in her marriage, but didn't. On her part, Sakshi, who was blaming herself for not listening to Sandhya's cries for help, is now guilty of doing the same vis a vis Shradhya.

Also, Savita's & Sakshi's visits to Gwalior - when they went, if they have such strong ties w/ Sandhya, they should have had an ehsas that this is indeed Sandhya, and there was probably a strong reason that she was behaving the way she was. Instead, they quickly fell for it when Sandhya swore the 'false' oath, and @ the party when Sandhya allowed Sakshi & Savita to be searched. Actually, in the latter case, Vrinda could have said that my sisters are innocent, and we'll prove it by searching their bags - that would have been less humiliating. (At any rate, Sandhya got to beat DK b4 Yuvraj apparently killed him)

And after all this, the sisters were @ the dinner table, ascribing motives to Sandhya. Only Jayesh seemed to be asking the logical question, which was that if Sandhya was a fake, why did she pay off Dipeshbhai to restore their house? Aside from that, none of the sisters had it right - Sakshi didn't even stop to think of how the real Sandhya might have wanted to go to her father's house, Shreya was quick to think that she was actually scouting the house for info about the real Sandhya, while it didn't occur to Savita that Sandhya may indeed have picked this up from Munni.

I agree that in the real world, what these sisters did was perfectly realistic & justified. Only that they don't seem to be that much in sync w/ each other, in contrast to what the name of the serial seems to suggest.

What do you think?

well u're right in what u said. but i also guess rakht sambandh also refers to the blood ties even in the jagirdar family not only the bonding of the five sisters. the way prabha can go to any extent for her son blindly in his love. whereas we can also see pankaj & dk ready to do anything for their nephew despite knowing that he's the son of their step bro puru... bonding which is beyond the blood ties... & we also have puru who's more sticked towards his morals rather than going blind in putra moha like prabha & showing his mutual consent on what his family do. i think this show shows various aspects of rakht sambandh... so the title is appropriate in my opinion😳

& talking about the bonding of the sisters... well it would be very filmi if they were shown to have the ehsaas 24/7. so it's right to show some distance the way they are suspecting sandhya not being her is i guess right on their part...😳 while blaming sakshi for not listening to shradhya... shradhya hersfelf can't speak for herself then i won't think it's right to blame sandhya. once upon a time sandhya was forced to pretend in front of her sisters just to save neeraj's life but still she had tried to show some hints by stepping on the sindoor. but if shradhya doesn't do anything then how will sakshi know it...😕

If RS was referring to the relationship within the Jagirdar family, it does a lousy job in my opinion. I mean, Pankaj doesn't care @ all about his own daughters, and Prabha doesn't care @ all about Sarla & DK when she just callously signs off half the property to Vrinda. Yuvraj doesn't care b4 killing DK, if that's what he did, and none in the family, except Sarla, care for Sunita. So sorry, everybody in the family being obsessed w/ Yuvraj, I don't call that rakt sambandh, particularly when Prabha doesn't care about Sunita or Sarla's girls. Also when Yuvraj doesn't seem to return the favor, but is totally self centered.

On the Savratkars, it's true that Shradhya didn't speak up for herself, but she did drop hints, like telling Sakshi that it's not like this is the first time Rohit's talking like that, and Sakshi didn't ask her to elaborate, but just asked her to return. Besides, Rohit did threaten Shradhya openly not to return if she didn't return w/ him. So Sakshi should have told him that if that was his attitude, she'd be the one not to let Shradhya return, not Rohit. Instead, she just forced Shradhya to return. 🤢 Also, both she & Savita suspected that something was wrong in Shradhya's marriage, and here was a golden opportunity to find out.

I don't blame Sandhya @ all for what she did - unlike mahaan leads in other serials, she tried to accommodate the Jagirdars until she found out that they were behind her father's death. Then if she avoided telling her sisters anything, it was to save their lives, not the Jagirdars. And since then, she wanted to tell her sisters everything until Gayatri persuaded her to wreck havoc on the Jagirdars, which she has done pretty well so far, but now needs to defang Yuvraj.

And no, I don't expect a 24/7 ehsas, but I did think that it was strange that the families haven't thought of any explanations behind all this. I mean, on Gokul Ashthami, when Sandhya kept urging Yuvraj to crack the dahi-hundi, he was pretty hesitant, saying he was scared, but the moment a total stranger challenged his mard, he was like on steroids. If they were to think about this and then analyze it, it might have given them a clue. And if Sandhya visits her dad's home, which is now the Blue Bell daycare center of Sakshi, then how come her sisters suspect that it's someone else? Why would an imposter visit the place when she knows nobody is there, rather than visit when they are, and find out more about the sisters? Incidentally, how did Sandhya get to Mumbai and pay off Dipeshbhai and visit her dad's place, when she's supposed to be @ Gwalior? And on Diwali, they had just returned, w/ the party where she seduced DK being on Diwali. So did Sandhya visit her dad's place the day she was absconding from the Jagirdars, making them sweat?

I think rakt sambandh simply means the sisters supporting each other even when the others are in trouble, and all of them have so far done it well. Although, unfortunately for Sandhya, she had to pretend and swallow Savita's humiliation by DK, which she avenged last night.

Anyway, let's see how the other relationships pan out.

I could not see any rakt sambandh between the sisters because when sandhya came to Mumbai for gokulashtami she wanted to speak with sakshi about the unusual things happening with her in the haveli but that time sakshi was more indulged in watching the human pyramids that she didn't find what was so disturbing her sister so much.

Savita and saskhi who came to find out the truth about vrinda at gwalior didn't stay there any more because they got insulted there but became aware that the girl staying in the haveli is not their sister sandhya but still they didn't try to give justice to their sister keeping side their ego and returned back with empty hands.

Shreya who was going to visit gwalior has not yet reached there!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess she is still planning to go.😆

^^^ Actually, that's a very good twist on the meaning of the serial name.

Khoon == Rakt

bhara maang = this refers to the marriage, which happened over the corpse of baba Savratkar. But the marriage could also be denoted by the term 'sambandh' i.e. relationship

So Rakt Sambandh could just as easily mean a relationship drenched in blood i.e. Yuvraj's marriage. This meaning didn't occur to me earlier, due to all the title previews. But now, yeah, the title is indeed worth it, and the relationship b/w the sisters or the Jagirdars would just lend it added meanings!!!
