In yesterday's episode, where the police asks Gauri, what her full name is, after much hesistation, she says, - Gauri - Shankar. Gauri told the truth, but in a very interesting way. Usually after marriage, Girl uses her husband's name. She could not have said Gauri - Rudr. At the same time she had to tell the truth. Rudr is another of Shanker or Shivji. So, she very intelligently told her name as Gauri - Shanker.
