Haven't read all the posts on the wedding etc.but now that we're getting to watch some sustained and relaxed sort of sweetness between the leads at last, I have to say this: of late when they've had a romantic scene it hasn't seemed like they're acting as Archana and Manav, they somehow become Ankita and Sushant instead. This is particularly so of Ankita: Archana hasn't bestowed naughty smiles before this,rarely - if ever - teases Manav, or dances in tthumkaas with her hand to her face or hips, and who'd have thought she'd ever call him "cute"? (Yaaay, you go girl, we think so too!) It's Ankita we associate all these with. And then Manav talking quite facetiously about "bonuses" and watching her with a grin as she vents her annoyance over Dharmesh's interference.... Perhaps I'm just too used to their normally staid on-screen personalities. Perhaps also, we're all primed with stories of their real life romance, and too fond of their quite adorable SBS/SBB banter. Though those are probably all scripted skits too, and who knows what the real people are actually like? Whatever the reason, it feels unreal to watch them this way on screen. The only romantic scene that seemed true to character was when they took cover under the kitchen counter: Archana and Manav appear to suffer from a serious phobia about getting physical whereas Ankita and Sushant.... for their own sakes, I truly hope not!
