I am not sure why but recently Karan Johar tweeted

BIG BOSS...that's been the BIG think in my twitter absense!! While on that save ashmit...cool guy!! Save him by texting ASH on 56882!!

Why does he wants to influence people for saving Ashmit ?

because hrishant is friends wit karan johar and and ashmit is friends with hrishant. so... and also karan(who is most likely gay) has been known to help struggling actors' careers in exchange for other kinds of favours. so it wuldnt be a surprise if hrishant or asmit show up in a small role in one of his films. also look at sidharth malhotra who karan is launching in a movie next year who is also apparently his boyfriend
