Did anyone else notice the loose theme in today's episode? Families, and their good natured teasing and ribbing!!

Pradhan family

🤣

How much did you LOVE that first scene??? One of the things I truly love about this show is that every actor, every character, every relationship is so natural. None of that over-made up nonsense - no fake smiles, forced hugs, stilted conversations between parents and children, siblings. Priya, her father and Chinu all seem like a perfectly real family, one that I can relate to. I loved their light ribbing of each other; to be honest, as much as I *love* Aditya-Priya, my favourite scene today was the first scene between the small Pradhan family...

I also loved that scene just after the milkman leaves the milk, the look that passes between Priya and her father...that look of utter disbelief and surprise, that someone would do so much for them. Much more than just want to marry Priya, Aditya has shown them that he is with them unconditionally - not just for Priya, and not just because he wants to appear "good" in her eyes so she will marry him. There is no ulterior motive for him: as Gaurav said in one of the earlier episodes, Aditya just naturally wants to help people (side bar: ironically this might be a result of watching his father, the 'policeman of the century', and wanting to emulate him). That look that passed between Priya and her father made me quite sad - sad to think that they had gotten so used to people's desertion and badtameezian that they had forgotten that there were good people in the world. That there might be someone outside their own little unit who would take their side, make their pain go away. It was just milk, but it symbolized so much more.

Aditya and Dadaji

Then, poor Aditya still patko-ing his textbook against his head😆, unable to take a word in. I must say, I agree with the sentiment (of not being able to sit down and revise) and I wasn't even in love at the time🤣 And Dadaji laughing at his expense...

I also loved that Aditya knows how to make tea (even if he didn't quite get there)!! How many Indian TV boys know their way in the kitchen?!! 🤣 Good practice for when Priya arrives 😉 And Dadaji's whole-hearted laugh was so good to hear. He is one character I have loved from the very beginning, for his wisdom and honesty, and unconditional support of his bahu. It was fantastic to see him finally opening up fully...

Aditya and Vidya

I'm loving this devar-bhabhi cuteness...Aditya is one of the first people (aside from Imli, I guess) to truly take to Vidya and make her feel like a part of the family. Poor girl is still struggling to maro-fy the billi, and everyone else in the family is too focused in hiding the truth from her, or ignoring her. It's nice to see Sweety and Aditya warm to her so quickly. (Side bar: Also, how much do you love Sweety? She's such a cute girl and the actress is so genuine - much better than the 30 year-olds trying to act 15. And the 15 year olds who can't act, period!🤢 I loved the scene between her and Aditya last week).

I also loved Vidya running after Aditya in the scene that follows, trying to get him to help her with Gaurav. I said in another post somewhere, Aditya has boundless energy and is always bouncing from one place to another, and this scene between them was so cute. I think I'll call him....Tigger😆😆

And of course, the scene where Priya imagines Aditya 🤣 need I say anything?!! Then she imagines her father as Aditya! ROFL....that's slightly...weird! And scary 🤣 🤣 Ladki gone mad

Then at Pradhan Central, the fun continues...luv-shuv ka mamla hain, so no wonder Priya wants to stab Chinu with a fork 🤣🤣 kabhi roti ki jhaga chawal deti hain, to kabhi paani ka glass bhar deti hain....kitchen mein towel lehne jaati hain, bartan uttha leti hain! 😆If this is love, no wonder people say it makes the world go round! Clearly it's made Priya dizzy!!

As you might be able to tell, I LOVED today's episode. It was light, funny and amusing but still the story unfolded well...it wasn't a filler. I even liked the Gaurav revelation at the end, though I must admit I skipped over Devyani rifling through his office because I wanted to get to the good bits! The precap was even cuter...Aditya ready to talk some luv-shuv with his chori, and Chinu answers! But of course he knows she's there....since he knows pretty much everything about her! Can't wait till tomorrow's ep which is when, I guess, she will go to see him at the university.

Like I said before, I really like the fact that all the relationships in this serial are so genuine and natural. If we didn't know it was a TV show, we'd think they really were a family. I would so much rather watch a show like this than the countless over-processed, under-developed shows that provide nothing but frustration. Fast-paced but structured, this show is like a breath of fresh air. 👏 I really hope it stays this way.

I totally agree with you on all those points! The Pradhan family is so sweet 😛 Love the bond they share. And that doodwala scene was quite touching hawww *sniff* These three have gotten so used to not having any support from the outside world as you said, so the doodwala was a nice surprise.

Aditya and his Dadaji are just too cute! LOVE the bond they share 😛 And devar-bhabhi scenes are always adorable. They have to be one of my favorite jodis regardless of what show it is 😳 Unless the devar or bhabhi is evil 😕 LOL cuz that ain't so adorable then 😆

Loved your post!

I think it was an amazing episode too....I loved the Pradhan family interaction....it was perfectly done and cute....like something any family would joke about....specially between brother and sister....I think the reason Priya was able to fight back with Adi's support is because she knows she has such a loving family....She draws strength from them. The whole milkman scene signified one thing for sure....that even though Adi's not there with them....he has truly made a change in Priya's life before he left. but will that change last....as you said...Adi naturally wants to help people and it is most probably because of his dad....I think we will see a personality change in Adi as the show moves forward...from the Tigger like energy Adi😆...to a matured and maybe very distrusting Adi will emerge. I would personally feel really sad but i think the story calls for it.

The way Adi couldn't study🤣 how well i know that feeling...specially when your mind is filed with someone's memories....no way will anything go in.....and Chora Adi's mind is 24/7 filled with Priya's love...it would be very hard for him to get anything in....His grandpa is a such a cool guy.....no wonder he hates the SSP...That was my fav scene of the day.....and when Adi went to make Tea I was like 😲...it was such a surprise.....and a good one. Priya is gonna have a good time...Adi is accomplished in every way....only If that SSP creep wasn't in that house.

I'm glad Adi talked with Vidya so friendlily.....because it's usually only Imli who talks to her and fills her mind with nonsense...and i'm glad Adi noticed that and told not to take much of that crap in to Vidya's mind. It shows that even though Adi is shown to be a ball of energy ready to burst....he has a very good idea about each person and their personalities.....I think it's this intuition which made Adi fall in love with Priya....Adi for all his craziness i think prefers a girl more grounded to a bubbly ditsy sort of girl.

Vidya is such a sweet girl....I really wish she could get Gaurav's love....she deserves it....but it would be a long journey to get there....one more thing i'm not sure about is will Vidya and Priya get along....they seem to be so different in every way....I feel Vidya will let Priya lead and take a side seat....which will help Vidya get her justice later.

Thanks!!😛 I agree - I love most devar-bhabhi relations too...its the closest they get to the actual husband-wife relation, but there's no angst or romance or husband-wifely tension, so they can stick with the fun and games😆 and the devar is usually a great support for the bhabhi, like we hope to see here.

I agree with you - the traditional route taken in serials when such truths emerge is that the person's character changes dramatically, and mostly for the worse😕 I know that there is obviously going to be a change in Adi (how could there not be?) when he finds out about SSP, but I hope he doesn't change too much. We already have one serious Priya, I don't want Aditya to become gumshuda-angry-young-man too😭 I hope the show's creatives keep the basic personalities of these people intact. But like Priya changed from bubbly to sad, Aditya might too. Then again, Priya is changing back

Also, what Imli said was true - opposites attract more often. If both Aditya and Priya were crazy, fun-loving and ditzy, they would come across as immature. But together they make a pair. And actually, Priya used to be a bubbly, outgoing girl anyway, so they are not too different. But imagine Aditya and Vidya together - they'd never get far in their relationship if they were the jodi!

I agree that Aditya has a great sense of people and their swabhaavs - even if he doesn't know what is going on in their lives, he is sensitive enough to realise their moods or empathise with their pain. That is a rare quality - to be able to feel the emotions of others, especially people he doesn't know well. That's how he was drawn to Priya in the first place - through her dukhi aatma and one-way-ticket-ness.

It honestly depends on what Gaurav's situation is. After yesterday I am even more convinced that Gaurav might be gay, but my worry is that the creatives are deliberately making this vague so that they can gauge the reactions of the audience now, and see whether they want to make him gay or just give him a female lover. I hope that's not the case - meaning, I hope they stick with whatever the original plan was. If he is gay, story-wise that would be fantastic, if only because it is so different to what we usually see, and if this really is a "bold" drama, then showing that should be no problem. I do feel sorry for poor Vidya though - because in that scenario, there really is no hope for her. I think Vidya and Priya will get on alright - I'm curious to know how old Vidya is - she behaves like she's 16/17. We know Priya is around 22/23, but naturally is more mature. Even if Vidya is older, she will still be guided by Priya who has more world experience (bad, sadly😭) than Vidya.

I want to see how Priya and Sweety interact....I hope they have a similar relation to Priya and Chinu😳...I'm already loving Aditya and Chinu's relation. It makes me laugh the way Chinu is so eager to please his Aditya bhaiya😆
