There is loud music everywhere, everyone is enjoying to the fullest and dancing to the rocking beat. Wherever you see, there are people enjoying the party and having the time of their life, but what's this, the host of the party, the birthday boy is standing alone near the window waiting for someone.
Suddenly the main door open and stepped in a girl wearing a beautiful red dress. Everyone's head turned to see who has come with so much elegance and grace. She glided through the crowd, greeting everyone and impatiently looking for someone.
"RIDDHIMAAAA!!!" , the girl turns hearing her name, to see her friend Nikita calling out to her.
"Haan Nikita, bol kya hua?" asks Riddhima.
"Madam kahan thi aap aura b Raajdhani Express ki tarah kahan bhaagi jaa rahi hai?"
"Arreh yaar pooch mat, mien yahan birthday boy ko dhund rahi hun aur woh janaab hi gayab hai."
" Woh toh ek dukhi aatma ban ke, khidki ke paas pata nhi kiska intazaar kar raha hai"
"Kya??????? OH SHUCKS!!!!" saying this Riddhima runs off in full speed towards the area Nikita had mentioned.
After looking for him for about 15min she finally found him near the window looking out with a defeated look. She signs deeply looking at her best friend and wished to lessen his pain. She made her way towards him and lightly placed her hand on his shoulder.
"VIREN" she whispered.
He turns to the side and we see a tear roll down the side of his cheek.
" Woh aaj bhi nhi aaye, Riddhi.", said Viren.
Riddhima signing desperately says, " Viren shayad woh....."
Viren cuts her in between saying " Har saal Riddhi har saal woh aaj ka din bhool jaate hai......har saal mien unka wait karta hun, ki woh aayenge aur hum ek saath aaj ka din bitaayenge...........par meri yeh khwaaish kabhi poori nhi hoti."
He continues, " Kya bhai ko meri koi fikar nhi? Har mahine sirf paise bhej dete hai toh unhe lagta hai ki unhone apne bare bhai hone ki saare farz poore kar diye. Mujhe toh yeh bhi nhi pata ki unke paas itne paise aate kahan se hai.......thak gaya hoon mien Riddhi............do mahine ho gaye hai bhai ko dekhe huye..........mein kya karun mujhe kuch samjh nhi aa raha hai." Saying this he turns around and hugs his best friend tightly.
Riddhima curses Viren's brother under her breath and consoles Viren by patting his back. Riddhima could feel Viren's tears on her shoulder; along with him she also shed some tears on his fate being so cruel. After staying like that for a long time, the duo finally separated and Riddhima wiped Viren's tears. He smiles at her and says, "I'm fine."
"By the way madam, mera gift kahan hai?" says Viren keeping his hands on his hips.
Riddhima laughs seeing his antics and hands him his birthday gift. Viren excitedly opened the gift wrap to see a beautiful bracelet with "FRIENDS4EVER" written on it. Seeing the gift, Viren looks up with moist eyes and gives Riddhima a side hug.
"Chal chal ab rona dhona band kar aur mera return gift de!", says Riddhima.
"Bol kya chahiye tujhe..............teri har icha poori hogi balike!!!" says Viren keeping his hand on riddhima's head. Riddhima shoves his hand off her head and drags him to the middle of the hall.
Riddhima goes up to the DJ and asks for a mike, seeing her get a mike from the DJ, Viren gets scared and says under his breath, "Oh teri, iske haath mien mike ka aana matlab kissi musibat ke aane ka indication........Viren beta inkal le yahan se isse pehle yeh khurapati dimaag tera band baja de!!" Saying this Viren turns to leave when he hears Riddhima saying, "Hey friends, on this special occasion, our dear birthday boy will sing a beautiful song." Hearing this Viren turns around with his eyes popped out and mouth open. Riddhima smirks at him and everyone cheers for him. He narrows his eyes at her and gives everyone a fake smile.
He closes his eyes in defeat, picks up his guitar to strum it with beautiful beats and starts humming.

At the end of the song everyone is cheering for Viren except Riddhima who has seen
his pain and moist eyes throughout the song. She walks up to him and hugs him
tight. They come out of the after some time to see the guests waiting to bid
them goodnight. While closing the door Riddhima receives a call which scares the life out of her. Without waiting for another moment, Riddhima runs out of the door towards her car with a confused Viren on her heels shouting what has happened.
