Interesting post and some very good replies.
Dutta and Supriya.....Hmmmmmm....... Was he more happy being in or believeing that he is in love with Sups more than Nakku?. Hmm may be, or may be not. But whatever that was , ie , Dutta more happy or not is all because of and was for Nakku and not Sups. He misunderstood his feelings thru out that phase and if we think he was happy cuz of Sups being in his life than we misunderstood him.
Dutta mentioned on his SR day that he felt a tinge in his heart when he met Nakku for the first time. Ever since, she started entering into his heart, without he knowing it. He admitted that on his SR. So if we go by that claim, during Sups phase , he was thinking abt Naakku, reacting because of Nakku's influence and was more into Nakku than anyone else.
Dutta seemed more happy During Sups phase was because he felt love came back to his life after 10 long years. So a person in his state will go a bit overboard in showing that and so did Dutta. The way he sent the marriage invitation et all showed that he wanted to display his affection. Incase of Nakku, he and she shared a more subdued affection. So he wasnt needed to display his affection, but even then he did. The way he proposed to her, the way he selected neck-chain as payal, the way he talked to her thru bappa puja and the way he signalled her to come sit next to him infront of everyone were clear indications that he has no inhibition in showing love and whatever he is doing was whole heartedly.
The diff between Sups and Nakku times is, during Sups phase Dutta had Nakku to tell him what to do and how to show affection. But during Nakku's phase whatever Dutta did/doing was/is what he really wanted/wants to do for his love. Hence the difference.
Whatever the change one might feel between the two tracks, actually boils down to one thing, Dutta during Sups times was giving in for a friend(read Nakku) and Dutta during Nakku times was giving in for love/wife .In the end its all about Nakku. There was no supriya in Dutta's life ever. It was a mirage and Dutta was reacting to that mirage at his friends insistence.
