I was just watching the old episodes of ltl and it seemed that dutta was more happier when he thought he was in love with supriya , then he ever was with naku.

Really!?? i thought whenever he was around her his reactions and behavior seemed Very forced .. as if he was trying hard to accept this gal is going to be his life partner ..

whereas dutta PRE- FR looked Very much in love with Nakusha! his eyes .. his gestures everything was shouting that he is in love ..

Edit: and also when he was with Seema.. specially in " aye kaash" song...

but with supriya, i never felt that chord ..

May be its just me 😕

May be its just me 😕 naa its nt jus u..im with u in this 1 too... dutta seemed forced 2 b with supriya n seeing hw chipku she was with him, he thrt she loves me so myt as well love her bk..bt with naku even after knwin she loves him he didnt love her bk nt until he realised tht she was not as bad as he thrt she was..n tht she was genuinely a gr8 human being n gr8 at heart..he thn fell for her nature, heart n personality which wasnt the case with supriya

I dont think dutta ever loved supriya....the positivity he had in him was all because of Nakusha.....she made him feel special........that someone can love him.........and it was all forced .......it never looked natural to me......I feel dutta truly loved only one girl i.e Nakusha..........when supriya ran away....he was more shocked at the fact i.,e. Nakusha betrayed him.......if he had cared for supriya......he would have ran after her and caught her..but he did not.......if u love someone u really can't let them go........he loved Nakusha so when she rejected him.......it hit him hard n let him down badly.........its Nakusha all the way for Dutta shriram Patil

The reason for all his happiness was Nakusha, na? He didn't realize it at the time, but later on when he was trying to make sense of his feelings for Naku he realised that every single moment he's been happy, it has been because of Nakusha. I somehow loved that period when he was happy, but oblivious to the fact that she was the reason for his smiles. Even today, in the flashback scenes, he remembers every moment with her.

When you are loved by someone, you find yourself blessed. You might not know of their love, but it blesses your life in ways you cannot comprehend.

Thank the Lord that Dutta "ever in love" with Supriya was never a track that CV's ever indulged in all through the the dragfest that the botched marriage was.

I wrote in one of my earlier posts that Dutta was made to believe in the sensation of love by Nakusha. He even acknowleged that just before the big drama when Naku went to check on him after the black-saree lady cursed him for killing her son. His detachment for that whole new development and his growing friendship/closeness far superseded any interest he showed in Supriya.

Anyway that is murky water under the bridge best forgotten now. How desperate and despondent it made all of us feel during that period.

Thank the lord for small and BIG MERCIES. 😊

I agree...Liz.He never realized that he was not falling in love with supriya but was more like pushed into something that felt like love on surface by nakku, AS,baaji,Supriya herself. even when she ran away..he was more hurt that nakku betrayed him rather then that supriya never loved him..

@ Saraw: dutta was happy when he loved seema..true..but that happiness was more evident and obvious as it was his first love. the first love is very innocent and naive. its more into exhibitionism and apparent to all. Its more like being in love with the idea of love, without knowledge of pain and hurt that might come. the issues and adjustment that the relation might need to survive.
But as one matures the love takes a different and deeper meaning. if one has been hurt the first time like dutta, they'll be cautious the second time to fall freely in love. but once they do, they give it their all. heart,body,soul. because they realize its true importance. even a first love only deepens to real abidding relationship with test and turns of time. hence, dutta though was more happy with seema but the person dutta bhau was more content with nakku..and also therefore he was most hurt by nakku's truth..maybe even more then seema's betrayal.

as for Supriya .. i dont know why ppl keep bring her name back again and again . more then her its was seema who had some place in his life ... but supriya?? if nakusha wouldn't have pushed him he would have not let things go that far .... thats why as soon as he came to know its nakusha who is involved he was unable to tolerate.. coz of obvious reasons already stated by liz and kavita..
