a few dumb traits of the show - Page 2

I am a teenager and me too speak mixed words. And not only in this show, I can notice it in every serials. it's not a big deal.

I'm not saying they should be speaking shudh hindi, im saying what is wrong with just speaking hindi. fair enough say english words, but not so much. i mean most of the convo's conversation go like this ''mein tum se nafrat karti hooon...i realllly hate u..ya'' all in that accent which shows how forced it is. whats wrong with speaking hindi seeing as the drama is set in india (i'm assuming)my first language is i guess is english, so i wouldnt litter all my conversations with french i learned through studying for no apparant reason. but then again i'm not in india,,,so maybe it is the done thing with teens there.

again with maithli's dress...yes it might be super cool...but only if your 18th century england. how does it fit with maithli's context? i think the show would be so much more effective if they, yes took the whole vampire theme,,BUT adapted it to fit the background/location and everything else.

@ princess329...i don't know but i can't imagine many uk teens relating to the show iwnt comment n this more then that cos i dont want my comments to be taken offensively!

@ffkhan yes maybe i am expecting too much logic from an ekta show

the English spoken by the characters gives the show youth touch.
i am indian-american so the accent does bother me, but i understand because u can't expected Indians to speak in western accent.
just like u can't expect western ppl to speak Hindi in a Indian accent.

i agree with what everyone said about mixing hindi with english words....because most of the times we do that....one or two english words are present in each sentence lol...but its not to show off or anything...when we study in english medium schools or colleges then how can we not speak english mixed with our national language 🤔

about the accent i didnt find anything wrong cuz i dont think any of the actors were trying to fake a accent...they looked normal to me 😕

about Mats dress....yes maybe they could have shown her in old 19th century indian attire but then agian maybe they just wanted to add a little victorian touch lol....and hey you never know where they actually met cuz by the looks of it they have travelled alot....people from england made journies to the subcontinent in the olden times so.... 😕

anyways at the end of the day its just a fiction show....so it cant be realistic all the time...thats why they are called dramas! 😆....so lets enjoy 😃

even i agree with u here😳, like most of us, who have studied, in eng med schools😃, our lingo, always has some nor other words, mix with our regional language with some touch of eng in it😃

its ok, it doesnt look all d bad n forced.......... altho, their clothes (T n company) is bit over d top.
