Arpita passes the cooking test with flying colours; her jethani gifts Arpita with her own bangles.... There was an anxious moment, husband and wife exchanged looks of worry but all's well that end's well.....Bhootni is angry to her core, obviously her minion made a mistake otherwise how could the food have come out right?...Arpita provides an explanation, innocently or otherwise, saying she had to cook another batch of kheer....
Bhootni was forced to hand over the household keys, her teeth gritted in anger and a fake smile on her face...her eyes burned with the force of her feeling....Arpita, feeling confident because of passing the rasoi test, was now feeling very ambitious, she wanted to be responsible for the kitchen.....bhootni sarcastically said she has yet to fulfull her duties as a wife first, then she could take over the household duties.....Avdesh pipes up and supports his wife..he had been a silent observer in this so far, a strange expression on his face as he listened to his wife and bhabi talk....However, Arpita is aware of him, every now and then her eyes would turn to him like a missile seeking it's base and with one flicker of his eyes, he would reassure her....❤️
Mama Rai calls on her damadh's phone to talk to her daughter, who could not wait to tell her mother the good news, that she was successful today in her sasural......when Mama asked if she was happy, Arpita said yes and yet a tear slid down her cheek as she exchanged a sorrowful look with her husband...both knew that a lie was being told...a part of her life lay unfulfilled.. for how long? No one knows, yet.
Avdesh was walking to somewhere when Kanoo brings him news of Lal Singh...Arpita coming behind with tea, was shocked to see the ferocious change in her husband, while fear coloured her face...Lal Singh was now a reality in her life ......Avdesh turned in anger, his face clenched with fury and hatred at finally having that man so near....ahead of him stood his bhabi, her face set with narrowed eyes while behind him stood his new and young wife, visibily disturbed and upset.....three different reaction to the news of Lal Singh...
Papa Rai is fortunate🤢... a bride has landed in his lap - for his son Jagat😆.🤢..he even got the dahej, though not the amount he was dreaming off👍🏼....it seems the player has met someone who plays even harder than he does..🤢😡😆
My thoughts:
This was a filler episode, nothing more or less. I guess they are building things up to explode or start with a bang on the 50th episode...then the tracks will be revealed and moved along...I only wish the GKD team would speed things up a bit, at the moment they are showing one day's event over five days of real time and episodes like the last 3 was an absolute drag...surely they could have shown this over one or two episode???🤔
I can't figure out if Arpita is being cocky, confident or has undergone a transformation so quickly ...or maybe the CVs want to show a young girl feeling the first flush of triumph.... She seemed to have lost her watchfulness when it came to her jethani, instead she is now calling her didi, seems to believe that woman means her well, she also looked eager to get her hand on the keys and so on... I hope we are shown later on that Arpita is aware of her jethani's colour and is playing her own game...
Avdesh for his own part had very little to do until the last bit, he had an alternative expression of boredom and blankness on his face throughout the majority part of the episode....He seemed to accept his bhauji's words at face value...I found it sad how distant and unemotional he was with his sasuma, this shows that he is so cut of from the normality of life...yet he could not make himself leave...he heard enough to know that Arpita was reassuring her mother her married life was fine..when it was anything but...the sorrow on his face was heartbreaking, he knew the obvious but his hands were tied....
Bhootni was very unhappy over losing her keys to Arpita but I'm sure we will soon see plans in motion to discredit Arpita....
This track with Papa Rai, I hope he doesn't get his son married..that he comes running to Avdesh for help instead...his son's are his puppets (so far) and it would be horrible to see another female subjected to their form of abuse...😡🤢
