The way it was shown that she 'understands' Savita's tears and gives up the baby is oh-so-not convincing. Did she give a single thought as to how the baby would grow up in that chawl house, with old grandparents, who don't even have a source of income as of now? Nor was she shown thinking as to what sort of emotional upbringing the child will have- with a grandmother like Savita and an alcoholic grandfather who is completely useless where fulfilling responsibilities are concerned. I understand that they have brought up their children Manav and Vandu to be good human beings, but still these traits cannot be ignored-
the fact cannot be ignored that Manav had to join garage at a young age and Savita did not protest,
that Savita tried to make Sachin a gold digger like herself,
the fact that Savita harped about society so much that her suicidal daughter went and got married to the guy who almost raped her just to save her parents name.
the fact that till today Savita gives importance to her own feelings and not her son's. Shravani was the biggest witness to this.
Savita may love Sachu a lot, for the matter, she loves Manav, Vandu and others too, but she cares only about her own feelings. She wanted Manav to divorce cos she wanted Shravani and Sachu, then she wanted them not to divorce cos she wanted Archana, and said you can adopt Sachu (so she can get both Archu and Sachu) and finally when Shravani made it clear she would not give up sachu, she again wanted Shravani and Sachu. She played games with her son's life by instigating Shravani during the delicate days of pregnancy.
Why should Savita get all she wants at her terms and conditions? Later in the serial, Archana Manav will return, so basically Deshmukhs will get everything they wanted without any compromises- Archana and Sachu both.
Everytime in this serial Savita goes scot free by becoming a victim- Manav never shouted adequately at his Mom, nor did anyone else, when she abused Archu cos that was the anger of a mother who had lost her son. Again here she will go scot free by getting her grandchild by playing the 'I am a victim card'. Not fair.
What Savita needs right now is not Sachu, but a counsellor. Going by today's update, I felt she was getting obsessive. I didn't feel that she is a villain here- - the way she was saying I will die without him and that he is mine and nobody else's. Same on the day of marriage, where she was crying for Sachu.
The child deserves a fresh, good future and financial security in the form of Girish's wealth. Shravani deserves the child. Savita needs a counsellor and Shravani should live with them temporarily and start distancing herself from them slowly. Savita- Damo should be shown to have very good relations with Shravani and Sachu.
IDEA TO CREATIVES:
Show that Sachu falls ill severely and is admitted to the hospital. He needs blood and treatment and Deshmukhs don't have money. Shravani is called over for the blood, and sees that there is no money for child's treatment. She cries and repents over her decision and says that I want my child back.đ
PS: Missing Kools. Forum suddenly seems to have become quiet without her commentary. If she was here, I am sure she would have opposed this track very vehemently.đ
