I am mostly a silent member but follow things closely. Ganpat's parting shot - 'the girl who couldn't be her father's ...'
That really scared me. Because it is from the movie Omkara - that is what Kareena's Dad says to Ajay Devgn before he walks away with her which is the first seed of suspicion.. and then Saif starts using Vivek Oberoi to make sure that the seed flourishes into a full grown tree which eventually make Omkara kill his Dolly...it was THE saddest thing ...based on Shakespeares's Othello
In LTL we have most of the parallels already in place...Dutta Nakku Baaji Kala,Kala's good husband...etc
I really don't like the way my mind is thinking...
going off topic a bit, i would like to share something...
There is a song in the movie - 'Jag ja ri gudiya, misri ki pudiya...' - sweet song which my hubby used to tease me with becuase i loved it (before the movie released)
But they use that song in the end once Ajay kills Kareena and she is dead on the swing which is rocking...and he realises his folly...when we watched that scene, I was crying inconsolably but it disturbed my husband also quite a lot...
i so desperately don't want that to happen to Nakku (and Dutta to a point, but he is mean 😡)...
but Ganpat's dialogue was quote unquote from that film i think 😭
