So was just wondering has anyone on this forum actually met any celebrity and what was their experience like?

If you haven't met any celebrity which celebrity would you like to meet?

I've only met one star in my life so far...This was back in New York City during India's Independence Day parade. I met Shilpa Shetty. She was gorgeous & beautiful. My dad got the perfect shot of her (I'd love to post it, but I'm afraid it will start leaking everywhere)! She's so genuine and down to earth. Not to mention gorgeous!

I'd love to meet in my lifetime:
1) Shahrukh (whom I actually almost did meet)
2) Rani
3) Karsima
4) Madhuri (I know her sister really well, but unfort have never met the actress herself)
5) Juhi
6) Aamir
7) Abhishek & Amit ji
8) Ranbir
9) Saif
10) Alka ji
11) Udit ji
12) Imran
13) Deepika

and many many many others!

I have not met any celeb!😭 I wish, hope and pray to meet Katrina Kaif one day! I also want to meet Priyanka, Akshay, Salman, Rani, Ranbir, Shahid, Preity, Madhuri, Karishma, Aamir, Arjun and many more ;)

From Bollywood:I've met Ash only(OMG!!!...it's a long story and I'll go in more details if anyone is interested)! But my best friend from high school is kind of related to SRK so he visits her and her family once a year and this one time she called me and told me to come over if i wanted to meet him and at the time I didn't go b/c it was a family gathering and it would seem awkward! My friend was like no, it won't be awkward just come over and I still didn't go and boy do I regret it!!! I've met Amisha and Kareena....and hated them after the meeting....YES...it was that horrible! Especially Amisha....I was only 10 and she made me cry...she was so mean!

But I would like to meet Abhi, Ranbir, Shahid, SRK, Salman, Rani, Kat, Sonam, Deepika, John, and PZ!!!!

I haven't met any celeb nor am i too interested to meet one... i like to watch them on my screen..thats about as close as i want to get to them

I have seen loads of celebrities (because of having worked at a hotel) but have personally met only a couple of them!

Most memorable was my meeting with Aamir Khan😳 Except the fact that he was even shorter than me😆, I found him to be a complete gentleman...very unaffected and courteous! There was nothing star like about him at all! We talked for about 10 minutes (all alone😃) and did not discuss his films at all! He asked me about my work, family, hobbies ect!

I am generally not the star struck types at all, but I was pretty much on the seventh heaven after the meeting! Its close to seven years since we met, I still have his autograph with me (framed and all!) despite the fact that I am not as big a fan of his, as I was at one time! That one meeting left a huge and positive impression on my mind!

Amongst other actors, SRK (work related...) but only for a couple of minutes and it was quite formal! He is like a five year old high on sugar...extremely fidgety and restless! 😆But once again, very natural and unaffected! None of the 'I am Badshah of Bollywood' attitude!

Shabana Azmi! Sorry to say, but a complete snob!😕 So damn stuck up! And on top of that, she looked like a horror with her head shaved (it was during the time they were supposed to shoot for Deepa Mehta's Water...which got its cast changed later on!)

Juhi Chawla...her Mother was an ex-employee of the hotel where I worked! Very sweet...very girly! She is quite like her on-screen persona...all giggles and smiles!

Karishma Kapoor....a bit aloof, but very polite and well-mannered!

Mani Ratnam! Total sweetheart! Met him at his nephew's wedding in Delhi! Half the people present could not even recognize him...he just blended in the background!

Aishwarya Rai! Amazingly beautiful....you can hardly take eyes off her face! And I met her when she was shooting for Taal...so she was pretty young and absolutely breathtaking at that time! Very refined and cultured woman....she must have given out atleast 500 autographs, yet there was not a trace of irritation on her face!

Akshay Khanna! Such a cutie!😳 But pathologically shy! I always imagined that all stars are extroverts...but Akshay was actually blushing when girls were falling all over him!😆

Saif Ali Khan, Amrita Singh and her kids...on an aeroplane (years back)! They were all seated in First class....but the kids kept running to the economy class and back! Their nanny / maid was seated alongside us in the economy class😕😆 The kids were adorable, I remember...especially the son! Saif sort of looked awkward when he came into the Economy class to get his kids...gave a shy sort of smile to everyone and vanished quickly!

Lots and Lots more...come to think of it, most of my meetings with stars have all been good experiences, except for Shabana (who was such a tartar!) Maybe afterall, they are nice, normal people, who just have bad days like the rest of us!😕

PS: I have no wish to meet film stars at all! But I would definitly like to meet Rahul Gandhi if I could!

Met Ash and Abhi at a media interaction in New York. Very beautiful... And what surprised me abt her was her friendliness and her warmth... I had a completely different image abt her and I had thought she would be very aloof and icy... Complete opposite to what image I had in mind... AB is exactly how he come up in his interviews. Very witty and very friendly...

Met Kareena and Babita outside Harrods in London. Babita was a complete snob... Kareena was just the opposite... Very friendly... Kareena is another gorgeous gorgeous girl... Took pics with her... Then she wanted to look at the pics to see how she looked. Then she was like please delete this one na , my hair is all messy... Let me tie it up and then we can take more pics... I said no you look great.. and she was like literally pleading me saying, No.. you cannot do this to me,You will show these pics to your friends and I better look good. She had a very child like innocence...All this time Babitha aunty ji was giving dirty looks to Kareena and smirking at me. 😆

Then SRK and his kids and abt 10-12 other kids and 20 nannies 😆 at Hyde park London... And SRK looks 10000000000000000000 times better on screen...

I dont know how they do it... But he looks way way way way better on screen...

Very jovial and a huggie kissie kind of guy... Kept saying darling all the time... Very hyperactive... Full on energy guy... Observed him for about an hr sitting in the park... He was running all the time with the other kids... I asked the nannies... Who are the other kids... They were Chunky's, Sanjay Kapoor's , Anu Dewan's, Gauri's brothers and couple of friends kids... And couple of Nannies were throwing more attitude than SRK ... 😆

Then I have seen Akshay and Twinkle at a restaurant in New York few years back...From a distance looked like they were having an argument ... Twinkle looked grumpy and mad... Akshay saw i was staring at him and he waved and gave a fake smile... Thought of going upto them but held myself back looking at Twinkle... The entire time I was in the restaurant I kept turning back to see if the mood was looking better on the other side so that I can go say hi to Akshay. But all the time Twinkle looked in a pretty bad mood and Akshay was trying to pacify her... So just left them alone...

Suzanne and her sister Farah Khan Ali, I bumped into them at JFK airport... Farah looked good. Suzanne could use more food. looked very pale... Suzane gave a half smile and Farah did not even care to smile... Ouch

Anupama Chopra and Vidhu Vinod Chopra ( 3 Idiots Director) at a media interaction in LA the past summer... Anupama is such a lovely, gentle, gracious lady... I was at the same table with her for lunch... What an amazing lady... Very well read, very knowledgeable and very different then the other B town wives...And Vidhu the complete opposite... Very loud ...In your face kind...

Saw Preity Zinta last year at LAX airport...At the check in counter...I was in hurry so did not try talking to her...

Met a few TV stars... Less said the better abt them...

Met AB sr, when he was hosting the first KBC. This was few yrs back. I was completely star struck. Could just mumble a hi. His voice is very intimidating.

Then I kept smiling sheepishly. Now when I think about it I must have embarassed myself...😳

No haven't met anyone....but would like to ask Abhay Deol why he took up that welding course if I ever met him...😕

It was ages back, Desu! The children were very small...Saif wasn't such a huge star back then!

But the kids were both so beautiful to look at...and very adorable...not at all the bratty kinds! The boy kept coming back to his nanny, he didn't want to sit with his parents!😆

I wasn't a Saif fan back then, else I would have forced the child to sit with me and play, so that I could steal a conversation with Saif!😆

I remember this incident so well, because I found it very sweet that Saif (he was a star even then, if not a huge one) came back for the kids and did not expect the Nanny to drop them back to the First class! He actually picked up the boy in his arms and held his daughter's hands and took them. Somehow one does not expect Stars / celebrities to behave in the manner that we normal people would and when they do, it leaves an impression on our minds!
