I am opening this thread to let our silent friends clearly know what we think in case s/he cares to visit.

I am extremely disappointed with the latest promo. I didn't see it,because I read many users' comments and from what I read, it shows Daya and a girl in a romantic song-and-dance set up. I don't want to see it and don't need any further descriptions.

FW, if you cannot think of crime related stories, please do something else. I don't have a problem with girl's in our cops' lives, but there's no need to bring in such scenes into CID. There are enough serials for that.

From my side, I am going to block Sony TV on my set top box till this romantic series is over. This is not CID for me. The CID I know is a crime series. The characters I know are not teenagers to act like silly college kids getting first crushes. Daya and Abhijeet are much older, mature and will never do such scenes.

Sony TV, please stop that promo ASAP, if you don't want to ruin our show and lose valuable TRPs.

FW cannot make an excuse of not having original ideas to come up with. I am not comparing, but if the writers(who I am sure are humans like the CID storywriters) of Law and Order(which is a crime show that has been going on for 1990) comes up with original ideas for so many years, so can they. They do that for a living, they cannot neglect their bread and butter for this crap.

I also have to blame the audience for this. Maybe Sony wasn't getting enough TRP's from CID, well not enough to bring them to the top of the charts. and Sony told FW to step up their game or shelve the project to give ways to new shows. Now of course, FW did not want that, and maybe included all this other external crap, to attract viewers interested in lovey-dovey stuff. But there is a limit, and they have gone well beyond it about a year and a half ago till now. This is downright pathetic!

I don't think FW is to blame. It is Sony....I am sure they have forced CID to join in the 'latest trend'. CID is their top serial (after KBC), so it's not that the TRPs are low.

O! dear! Don't worry. Even if sony had forced this track on CID, this is not gonna continue for long..I think that. It's just a part of the puzzle/trap for CID. The girl & her cousin/friend everyone looked mysterious. This time too it is a part of a game. So don't worry guys. Just watch the episodes. FW isn't gonna disappoint us...👍🏼

I never said FW was to blame. Even I feel it's entirely Sony's fault that FW has to do all this in desparation.

Yes, CID does fetch SET the second-best TRP's, but if you look from a broader perspective, from channel to channel, the TRP's for Sony are nothing. And Sony is using that to persuade FW to create all this crap to attract the audience, or else clear out.

FW can't do one thing properly now.

They have a bunch of amateur writers who have no idea of who ACP, Daya or Abhijeet are. They probably grew up watching K-serials.

Then they have the bi-weekly thing, meaning no time to sit and watch the final product before submitting it to Sony, no time for critical self-analysis, no brains put into the story, nothing.

This is going to be a total mess.

I WILL NOT WATCH SONY TV TILL NEXT MONDAY. I DON'T WANT TO SEE THE EPISODE OR THE PROMO WHICH I AM SURE WILL KEEP SHOWING UP DURING EVERY AD BREAK.

I AM EVEN GOING TO SKIP KBC(to avoid the promo).

I will re-activate Sony only when some of my trusted friends here on IF PM me that this track is over for good.

Fw or Sony, I don't know who is responsible for this, perhaps they don't know the difference between a romantic serial and a crime thriller.
There is nothing abnormal in it if someone comes into our favourite officer's life, but this should not be shown in this way with a song sequence.
Just when we were glad after the last episode thinking that the lost charm is coming back slowly, we were happy that the piano dialogue was off, then comes this drastic change.

Our mighty duo acting like amateur teenagers in proposing girls is something it was little too embarassing. I couldn't help myself from grinning when I saw the promo... I couldn't take it BUT what do we think should be the stress buster for our cops? They may look forward for family life... so is the start I beleive.

i agree with you visrom, better we quit watching this episode. this is going to be a complete disaster. I cant imagine Daya as a soap hero. his image will be destroyed for ever. I dont want him to be part of such a stupidity.

creatives? what you have done? are you planning to kill this show? if yes then do it with one bullet....dont kill it inch by inch.

I'm liking this track in this sense that I feel, this is a part of a game against CID. CID would be trapped through this romance saga..may be! If this happens, that would be good as many don't want Daya jee to be in a romantic mood and me too don't want Daya Sir to be hooked with that girl😡!!

But it's a great opportunity to see Daya Sir in a totally different character and it will prove Daya Sir's amazing acting capability again in a new form.....It would prove him as a fully versatile actor!! Guys, don't u want it😛?

May be, I'm trying to be positive this time, but it has something more than that. And the promo most of the times doesn't say the right story. So, if it is shown in the promo about Daya Sir's love feelings, don't lose hope. May be the coming episodes based on crime stories...among those 3/4 scenes would be of Romance....And I don't think that Daya Sir would be shown dancing with a girl friend😆!

So, let's see what happens!😉 And please friends don't take me otherwise, am trying to be think positive only...nothing else!!
