Hi Folks,

I am a graduate student at NYU-Poly, doing research on the representation of women in Indian television, and am currently looking at the occupation of the female characters shown in the Hindi serials.

Name of the serial: Sasural genda Phool

Name of the director: Mr. Ravi Ojha

Name of the female character: Suhana Bajpai/ Mrs.SUhana Kashyap

Actress playing the role: Raginii Khanna

Her occupation: Actress

Any interesting details about her work:

She started her work with singing jingles for commercials, she had sang 30 jingles till date

She is the nephew of Bollywood Superstar Govinda.

She started her career as an actress from the serial "Radha ki betiyan..." which was a big hit, later starred in "Bhaskar Bharti" which too was very appreciated and now currently engaged in her biggest and most famous role till date in "Sasural genda Phool", already a super-hit show.

She will soon be seen in a movie in January next year directed by Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra , i m missing the name for a while.

She is quite ambitious and is very hard worker. She is a real and pure talent, can do any kind of role, she is just like a pure water which can take shape of any vessel in which it is contained.
