hey guys: here is the next update! sorry for the delay i hope you guys like it...I didn't had time proofreading my mistakes as am in a hurry so ignore the mistakes and I hope you guys understood the update😆😆

Note: Thank you for your lovely comments...I will respond back to everyone once I get a chance! 😳

Chapter 13:

While Geet was in the kitchen busy preparing food..someone came up from behind and held her from the west...he removed her hair from the back and started nibbling on her neck...Geet removed his hand from the waist and continued doing her work...he turned her around...
Maan: why are you mad?
Geet: you didn't tell me that we are having a guest
Maan: Well he wanted to surprise everyone..sorry I had to hide something from you
Geet: It's ok
Maan: aise nahi...(coming closer to her)
Geet (understood what he meant): Maan go not now...I have to prepare lunch
Maan was coming closer to Geet when he heard someone calling him from the living room..."this is not over" and left

After a while everyone was on the table eating lunch after Geet had served everyone on the table:
Dadima: Dev so tell me what kind of girl do you want?
Dev: Dadima I want a girl like Geet...
Maan and Geet both dropped their spoon and looked at Dev
Dev: I meant to say that someone as good as Geet you know traditional yet modern, good thinking, beautiful and caring...
Maan: well I am afraid that you will never get married Dev looked at him with question look because there is only one Geet...no one can be like her
Sargam: right papa there is only one mama in this world
Geet gave a slight smile to Maan and Sargam
Dev: well never say never
Dadima: Don't worry Dev I will find a girl for you that matches your requirements and Geet will help
Geet hesitantly: Right Dadima
Dev: Thank you Daidma and Geet...waise I don't mind if Geet had a sister am sure that she would have the same qualities like Geet (looking at Geet)
Geet: ji meri koi behen nahi hai
Maan: waise Dev since you are here why don't you join my company since you are going to be living here
Dadima: yes, Maan is right..why don't you help Maan with his work...you are also like part of the family
Dev: Dadima I don't know..I don't want to be a trouble
Maan: there is no trouble at all...you are like my brother and family is no trouble at all...why don't you join tomarrow
Dev: Thanks I would love that
Geet: Maan mein Sargam ko solake aati hoon...usku skool bhi jana hai kal
Sargam: No mama..I don't want to go to sleep...Can I stay bit more longer?
Maan: No Sargam...go upstairs and brush your teeth and get in your PJ's
Sargam: DM
Dadima: Sargam beta listen to your parents...when there is weekend you can stay up longer
Sargam: no one listens to me (pouts her lips and crosses her hands over her chest)
Dev: comeon let her stay little bit longer..we can play together for a little bit
Sargam: Yay Dev chachu you are the best..Mama can I?
Geet: ummm ok but only for an hour
Sargam: yay! Come on Dev chachu I will show you my room and the toys that we can play with

They both left while Dadima went to sleep and Maan went to his home office to do some work...Geet cleared up the table and went to Sargam's room where she was still playing with Dev.
Sargam: Dev chachu you lost I won the money...she started chanting "I am a winner see my prize you are a looser who sits and cries"
Dev: Awww I can't believe I lost...if only I knew that you were that good
Geet: Sargam! is this a way to talk to adults...come on get ready for bed now
Sargam: Sorry mommy
Dev: Geet it is fine actually it's my fault
Geet: Ji no it is fine...Nakul has fixed your room..it is down at the end of the hallway
Dev: Thank you..ok Sargam good night
Sargam: Good night Dev Chachu
Geet went up to Sargam and picked her up and placed her on the bed...when she turned around Dev was standing at the door...
Dev: umm I forgot to say good night to you
Geet: Ji Good night...

Geet knew that Maan would be still in the office working..
Geet: Maan when are you done?
Maan: in a little while...I am almost done
Geet: ohh ok...I will go back to the room
Maan grabbed Geet's hand and pulled her into his lap..."Geet what's wrong"
Geet: umm nothing...how come Dev doesn't call me bhabi?
Maan laughed: Geet you always make me fall in love with you again and again..is that what is bothering you?...he moved to America when he was little so obviously he got used to Amerian lifestyle and he was never really good when it came to relations...so give him sometime...
Geet: hmm you are right
Maan: hmm ok lets go back to the room I am done anyway...(he picked up Geet in his arm)..
Geet: maan put me down...someone could see
Maan: let them see
Maan threw Geet lighly on the bed and started taking his shirt off
Geet: Maan what are you doing?
Maan ignored Geet's question and pushed Geet on the bed and kissed her very passionately feeling her soul...he whispered in her ear "loving my wife" he took off her sari pallu and started kissing her neck moving slowly down from her neck...Geet wrapped her hands around his neck "i love you Maan"...hearing this Maan pinned her hands on the bed and showed Geet how much he loved Geet all night...

In the morning Maan woke up and looked at Geet who was fixing her sari pallu and putting on sindoor in her maang...he comes up from behind and hugs her..."I love you"..
Geet: Move I have to go...
Maan hugs are tighter: what happend to my basanti?
Geet: look at my wrists..I have marks on it from last night
Maan looked at her wrists and there were cut marks from her bangles that must've been broken during the night.. "am sorry" and started kissing her wrists and her arms...suddenly they heard knock on the door...
Geet: take a shower and come downstairs..(kisses him on the cheek)
Geet opened the door...Sargam was waiting for her there holding her teddy bear in hand
Sargam: Mama do I have to go to school today?
Geet (laughed): of course mera baccha...come on go and get ready while I prepare your breakfast...what do you wanna eat today?
Sargam: hmm ok...I want my favorite pancakes
Geet: Alright go get ready while I make you some pancakes...good thing your papa showed me how to make it

While Geet was in the kitchen...Geet felt someone was in the kitchen...she thought it must be Sargam waiting for her breakfast and didn't pay much attention to it..she got busy in making her breakfast for Sargam as well as everyone...
Geet: Sargam here is your breakfast...(when she turned around she saw Dev sitting there)
Dev: umm I came here to get some juice
Geet hesitently: ji mein deti hoon
While Geet was getting the juice she heard Sargam's voice:
Sargam: Good morning Dev Chachu...
Dev: Good morning Sargam
Geet: Sargam here is your breakfast..
Sargam: Thank you mommy
Geet: Dev what would you like for breakfast
Dev: umm if you don't mind..then pancakes would be fine
Geet: ji mein abhi lekar aati hoon

When Maan came down from shower...he saw Dev and Sargam already in the kitchen eating their breakfast...Geet usually eats breakfast when he and Saragam leaves with Dadima...he often asked Geet to join the office after marriage but she always refused..she always says that she is happy being a housewife and plus didn't want to leave Dadima home alone...he always loved Geet and her caring nature...
Maan: Good morning Dev
Dev: Good morning Maan...
Maan: Sargam hmm yummy pancakes...
Sargam: papa this is mine...ask mummy she will make you some
Maan: but I want your pancake
Sargam: mama, papa wants my pancake
Geet: Maan why are you teasing her...you know she doesn't share her food..
Maan laughed: I know but I didn't want to pass up an opportunity to teach my princess for once
Dev: Seriously Maan I didn't think that marriage would change you that much
Maan: well I am happy with the change its a good change (looking at Geet)...waise are you ready for your office today Dev?
Dev: umm if it is ok I would like to join the office tommarow...I wanted to spend some time with Dadima...
Maan: hmm ok that is fine...Geet I am going to drop Sargam to school and pick her up...ready Sargam?
Sargam: yes am ready papa...bye mummy and dev chachu
Geet didn't know what to do...maybe Maan was right..I should give Dev a chance...maybe I am just overreacting...

Precap: Dev: Do you need any help (coming towards Geet)?
Geet: umm no I got it

Hmm my gut feelin bout dev isnt gud! Maan cud b right, hes too american-ified bt wat if geet is right? Ur precap seems to go both ways yaar, ahh y dnt u jus update agen and that way we'l b out of our misery haina 😆
