isnt it the same with the Nehru family. No one in the family had the surname Gandhi yet today they all have the famous "gandhi" surname.

There was a very interesting article abt this. Everyone knew Rajiv Gandhi's maternal grandfather but no one knows abt his paternal grandparents....

Indira gandhi's Husband was named Feroz Gandhi by GAndhiji so the Indira Gandhi and her family got the name from there .

Farhan is John's parsi name ...once he said that he also have a parsi name which is Farhan
