Tujhe Bhula Diya
::
Heer gently stirred in her sleep as she felt the soft present of a special person resting on the bed besides her. And instantly, a smile formed on her face and she opened her eyes to be greeted by the most beautiful angel that someone very dear had gifted to her.
Her eyes admired the coffee warm eyes and the mischievous little smirk. Heer knew that her daughter was beautiful. Why wouldn't she be? After all, she had genetically gotten the eyes that could make you drown and the smile that could easily melt and coconut surfaced heart. These two features made it clear to anyone that Chavi was, is, and will always be the child of Prem Juneja. It didn't matter that Prem didn't remember Heer as his wife. But she knew that deep down, Prem could also tell that Chavi was truly Chavi Prem Juneja.

Heer whizzed out of events that occurred in her life and focused on her baby. Gosh she looked adorable that she couldn't help but pull her close and hug her tightly. Her innocent giggles filled her ears and Heer playfully tickled her and kissed her on her cheeks.
"Mommy'?" she whispered innocently as they both lay there, hugging each other under the comfort of the warm blanket.
"Yesh baby...?" Heer smiled at her cute face and placed a sweet kissed on her forehead after brushing her brownish-gold tresses behind her little ears.
Very cutely, she pulled out the fresh rose flower from behind and presented her precious gift to her Mommy.
"Happy Wedding Anniversary Mommy'" Chavi wished her mother and indirectly wished her father.
Heer felt her ears prick up with tears at seeing this wonderful gesture of her baby's. With a broad smile, she placed a kiss on Chavi's small hand that held out the flower to her. And wishing that there was someone else who could have been there to wish her, Heer pulled Chavi into a tight hug. This way, she was feeling a part of him, close to her own heart.

"Now what do I get'?" Chavi asked innocently. Both mother and daughter were still in bed when the clock stroke 8:30 in the morning.
"For what shona'?" Heer said as she snuggled close into the pillow, refusing to wake up. Chavi shuck her head in defeat.
"Mommy wake up'! It's Saturday and I want a gift because I gave you a flower." Chavi explained as she sat up on the bed.
Chavi loved her Mommy when she acted as a stubborn child when she had to wake up early in the morning. But being the early riser as she was, she didn't know what to do on a Saturday all alone. And plus, Saturday was cookies and brownies day!
"Please Mommy'" Chavi said and made a face that Heer choked up on. Day after day, her daughter was turning more and more like her father. Not that it bother her, but Chavi reminded her everyday that Heer still hadn't moved on in her life. She still remembered every little detail about him, she could describe every single feature on him, she could recognize her feel with closed eyes, and she could tolerate whatever it took to keep him safe and happy. She loved Prem so much that even after a year of no recognition, her faith in her love was strong and it told her that one day, Prem would remember again. He would be her's again. And his Chavi will have her Daddy again.

As she was getting Chavi dressed after her shower, Heer herself tracing back to the very first day that she met him. She was a young freshman at St. Xavier's University and he was a junior. Being the freshman, she was assigned a dorm room from the University. Unfortunately, Heer ended up having to live around an area where perverts and scumbags were a constant trouble to her and her roommate. When misbehaving started to irk her nerves, Heer decided to speak out and find herself a safer place to live. Coincidently, star studded "the Prem Juneja" was the President in the University Committee for the Freshman Class. At first sight, Heer knew that she impressed by his polite mannerism and his drool worthy physic. His eyes had this certain magic that made her lose her own trace of thought while talking. And his grin almost made her feet glide to the surface like jelly. But these traits only accounted for a physical attraction and Heer Maan as no fool who would fall for someone for just their looks.
She knew she wouldn't fall for him and yet she ended up falling so deeply in love with him that it brought tears to her eyes. It's true that the physical attraction had caught up to her. But what made her fall in love with Prem Juneja was the fact that he respected her, he made sure that she was safe, and he took the time each day to walk her to her dorm room. He was honest to her and what better proof to give you then his very own eyes. He was someone who she could be dependent on. He was intelligent, hard-working, audacious, and quite simply a guy who didn't hold any arrogance for the wealth that his opulent family possessed.
What really stirred the love-sick mess up was the fact that Prem Juneja was deeply in love with a girl. Whenever Heer and Prem would hangout, Prem would someone indicate to her that he loved a girl at the University. Each time he mentioned about his special someone, her heart would break and she would start imagining her Prem with Sanjana, her fellow classmate. Heer and Sanjana were good friends because Heer knew that Sanjana was a very nice person. But whenever Sanjana would mention Prem, Heer would always feel a ting of jealousy seep up her veins.
It was only on the day that she was unexpectedly proposed by a hysterical Prem who had planned it all out with Sanjana to make her feel jealous.
Heer still remembered the cute retort that she had thrown at him.
"You made me feel all heart broken so that you could figure out if you loved me or not'?" Heer had asked Prem being all furious. Prem had just disclosed the jealousy plan to Heer and Heer needed something to went her anger out on.
"All you wanted to do was to MAKE SURE that you loved me???" She had yelled at a calm Prem who was admiring her outburst.
"No." Prem had said after a long silence had passed.
"I did it so that I could make sure that you loved me as well." Prem justified.
"You could have just asked me out!" Heer suggested, frustrated by him.
"But I had to know if you liked me 'that' way. By making such a hasty proposal, I didn't want to change what was and is between us. I didn't want you to feel awkward Heer." Prem had said those word so sweetly that it had her crying and smiling at the same time.
"Then what did you find out Prem'?" A smirk played along her luscious lips.
"I found out that'" He took a step closer to her and warmly wrapped his arms around her as a shield from the cold, winter chill on the boardwalk.
"That'?" She whispered as she felt him close in on her.
"That'Heer Maan is ready to become Mrs. Heer Prem Juneja as long as I stay away from Sanjana." He stated with an adorable smirk.
They both chuckled at that and before she knew it, his lips swept across the surface of her lips and she found herself drowning into him. She poured all her love out of him into her first kiss, knowing that from this point on, her love was only going to increase for him. He was perfect for her in each and everyway. Heer would never trade anything for the moments that she had spent with him.
::
A loud Mommy hit her ears and saw that she hadn't even put the comb through Chavi's hair even once. Gently hitting her head, she finished getting her daughter ready and then headed off to take a shower herself. And even in the shower, Prem was not going to leave her thoughts. No matter how much it hurt her to know that he doesn't recognize her, he doesn't recognize the love that they shared, he doesn't remember the maturity of their marriage, and he doesn't remember who Chavi is. It made her feel proud to know that he had lost his memory while assisting a girl in need. He had been a hero that rainy day and she couldn't thank God enough for saving his life. He was that most important being for her along with Chavi. And as long as he was happy, she was happy.
But Heer still hold onto her faith that one day, just one day he might remember who she is, what their love was like, and know what it was like to be around your own child. Prem had already achieved that later, but he was still struggling with the former two.
Tell me how it was!!!
