It is quite obvious that nobody in Singh Family except Ghanti Dadi & Silent Kesar likes Pratigya. Obviously they are not the breadwinners of the family. It is Sajjan Singh, who is the breadwinner and he hates Pratigya. In the family, where your wife is not given any respect, and even you are losing respect in your parents'e eye, then it is better to leave the house.
Now it is true Krishna is not educated but he has a strong body. He has good freinds and good connections. So he can find work even though it won't be a white collar job. Plus, Pratigya is educated, she can easily find a good job and both husband and wife can lead a good life. Also Pratigya slowly should start educating Krishna as education is the fundamental right of every person. Singh family has done gross injustice to their children by not sending them to school. It is weird but I guess it can be true.
Anyways, Krishna needs a job! :)
