Jyoti asks whether it's right to lie about something this major, and Kabir tells her they don't have an alternative. Pankaj says that he'll be willing to abide by any of Jyoti's decisions. Jyoti reminds Kabir that when they got married, she asked him to stop her if ever she made a wrong move in her life, and if he's pressing her to do this, she will. Kabir then adds to Pankaj that the condition on which he's agreeing to this is that the baby so born will be known as his kid and not Pankaj's. Pankaj agrees, and says he can't ask for anything more.

In the haveli, CS, the new gal & Vikrant are seated, and Reshmi brings in tea for all of them. She offers it first to Vikrant, who berates her for not serving the guest first. Reshmi then takes another cup and offers it to the new girl, who shocks her by telling her that the way she's giving it is bad manners. (Ok, but sleeping w/ someone else's hubby aint?) Reshmi leaves and goes to another room & starts crying, and the other girl goes up to her. Reshmi stares @ her, and the other girl asks her how she can stare @ her like that? Reshmi tells her that she's not a stranger to this house, as no stranger would behave the way she has. The other girl tells her that she's right, and that she's here to possess everything that's Reshmi's, including Vikrant. CS & Vikrant are standing right in front of them, & smirk.

Bhairavi is w/ Pankaj, and asks him about what transpired. Pankaj tells her about Kabir's condition, and how he'd have no right to call that baby his own, or go near it, and so on. Bhairavi asks him how he could agree to this. Pankaj tells her that he didn't have a choice, and that he'd grieve for a few days & then forget it. Bhairavi asks him to rejoice in the knowledge that this baby would be the savior of Roshni, & Pankaj agrees.

Padma is in Kabir's place, and Jyoti asks her to bless her. Padma says that no mother would bless her children when they are about to self destruct, and Kabir tries to explain to her that Jyoti too is a mother and is doing this for the sake of her daughter. He also assures her that that baby would be known as his. Padma tells him that she's not bothered about what the rest of the world thinks, but worries that sooner or later, Kabir will come to regret his decision, and when he does, he'll blame Jyoti. Kabir promises her he won't.

Jyoti then imagines a scenario in future where a friend of Kabir accuses him of commiting a major sin by doing this, and accusing Jyoti of being responsible for it, and walks out on Kabir. After he leaves, Kabir accuses Jyoti of being responsible for her own isolation by not taking the divorce when it was offered. Jyoti is shocked. Jyoti then returns to the real world, and wonders how she can imagine this about Kabir. Kabir tells her that even if Padma doesn't support them, her blessings will always be w/ them.

Jyoti & Kabir are in hospital, and the nurse calls her into the room where she's supposed to be inseminated. The door closes, and Jyoti looks back @ Kabir, and decides that she just can't do this. She then runs out to the nearest Ganesh shrine, and tells him that there's no way she can do this to Kabir. Kabir follows her and paints her a picture of Roshni's future, right up to her marriage (Kabir, if Roshni ever has to do something like what you're expecting Jyoti to do, will you support her as well?) He persuades Jyoti to come back w/ him.

RP happens to be in the same hospital (what a surprise!!! Par for the course for this serial!!!) and is discussing w/ a nurse his ECG reports. He sees Jyoti & Kabir from behind and wonders what they're doing here. He sees them enter a gynacologist's office, and smiles to himself thinking that they've conceived. Pankaj passes him while he doesn't notice, but when he looks up and sees Pankaj near the office, he's surprised and wonders what's going on.

So the CVs of this serial, through Kabir, are communicating that a woman should have her ex-hubby's baby if that's the only way of saving her kid? Putting aside the actual medical evidence & practices when it comes to tackling this desease, subverting an existing marriage is fine w/ them under the pretext of saving a life. No thought as to any ramifications it might have on the other baby born solely for this purpose. And what if this baby has leukamea as well - will Jyoti then have to produce a 3rd baby from Pankaj? What if Pankaj was dead? This show seems to believe that a legitimate reason for a baby to be born is to serve as organ donor for elder siblings. Oh, and lying to one's family is absolutely fine & dandy as well.

Bhairavi who the last few days looked like her sole worry was Roshni's well being, showed her true colors again by being shocked @ Pankaj's agreeing not to claim the baby born just for this reason. So what does she expect - Jyoti to abandon Kabir & return to Pankaj & her? The only reason this is on the table @ all is Roshni, or else, Pankaj has no business trying to have a baby w/ Jyoti. And even now, she's learnt nothing - Pankaj is still a complete dependent on her.

Another thing - in the past, when Jyoti made the condition of her divorce from Pankaj that he not claim her baby as his, Pankaj had signed it, and so went on to kidnap that baby. So how is anything he promises worth a dime? If in future, after Jyoti has given birth, he somehow kidnaps that kid and refuses to release it, instead insisting that Roshni be handed over to him as well, what will Jyotir do?

Padma spoke sense to Kabir, and it's now becoming irritating to see him defend Jyoti being artificially inseminated w/ Pankaj when she herself, left to herself, would be against it. Does Kabir even realize that in this day & age, it's not at all difficult for anyone to find out this baby's paternity, from DNA & others. No matter how much he supports Jyoti, the world will regard her as a s**t. Already, Jyoti had been through this once when Pankaj had accused her falsely of carrying someone else's baby, but this time, even though Kabir won't, everybody will know, and it won't be false.

Finally, RP sees them going to the OBGYN, and Pankaj following them. Wonder whether that'll put the kabash on the whole thing? At any rate, they are dragging this - if the CVs want Jyoti to have Pankaj's baby, just get it done w/, and if they don't, just dismiss it. Enough already.

Finally, Reshmi gets to know what it is that this girl is here for. Only question - does this girl know the status of women in this household? Or does she expect to be on a similar pedestal as CS? And even if she does, does she think RP, Sumer, Raghu & Kabir will give it to her b4 their own wives? Seems like quite a ditz to me, if she hasn't done that research.

This is worst serial ever. What are these people trying to show. In India divorcee are already frown upon. Now this stupid people are showing that marry a divorcee and her past will keep following you till end. What a way to bring social change. Sometime I wish there was some kind of control abt kind of grabage these serial ppl can show under the excuse of creative right.

Couldnt the moron CV's show the use of a surrogate mothers. But no, they have lost all ethics by showing that another child is produced just for the sake of saving the first child. But after all this, is there any guarantee that roshini will survive. Sick track , why dont they just end this serial on a happy note.

Thanks Vrisha for the update as usual you 've done excellent job . I think the end of this serial will be very sad .Pankaj just want to ruin the Jyotir's life,and silly Kabir helped him to be successful in his cunning plan under the name of humanity or saving one's life .It's unbearable .I think Roshani's illness is Fake.

Kabash means to put a spanner in the works - essentially, pre-empt something from happening. Here, if RP caught them and Pankaj together, and they all know that he's not supposed to know, they might drop the idea for that reason alone.
